After watching the film and then checking it twice...I will pinch hit for IC this week on the report card.

A Tale of Two Teams

I'm hesitant to even write about this topic for fear that my treatment of the subject will doom my other Pittsburgh sports love for the remainder of the season.  If Sidney Crosby blows out his knee tomorrow night, it's all my fault.

One of the most interesting things about the Year of Champions was the close camaraderie between Pittsburgh's championship teams last year.  From Max Talbot becoming a full-on Steeler fan to Casey Hampton sitting at center ice to Ray Shero and Kevin Colbert cheering each other on, the Penguins/Steelers crossover was something to behold.

Steelers vs. Packers Time Change

The NFL has changed the start time for the Steelers and Packers game scheduled in Pittsburgh on Sunday, December 20, 2009.  The time change is due to the NFL's flexible scheduling system.

Kickoff is now scheduled for 4:15pm (EST) at Heinz Field.  The game was originally scheduled for a 1:00pm kickoff.

Fox Sports will provide the T.V. coverage.

The Packers are in second place in the NFC North with a 9-4 record and fighting for a playoff spot.

It takes a lot of will power to even dignify a game like this with any amount of time when no effort is placed on the field.  I even went so far as to attend this debacle of a football game.

Gospel 13- Flirting With Diaster

This week’s gospel will be a little different; generally when the Steelers play on a short week I will focus only on the matchups…The problem this week…I have no freaking clue what players will start for the Steelers at key positions across the defense. I will guess at the matchups. This season feels like 2003…The Steelers are just a mess…The team has zero direction on both sides of the ball.
