Now that we are not playing the cheaters, can we like/admire James Harrison again? He may have been trouble & the team let him go but he wasn't treated well, either. Harrison went to the cheaters as they offered to play him something the Steelers wouldn't do. Isn't his interception touchdown run down the field the best play ever by a Steeler especially as he had ignored the defensive instructions to go with his instincts.

He does not need a SB ring so I hope NE loses and Jax defense breaks TB12.

The wails and crys on this board if Harrison gets a sack in the game will overwhelm the internet.

He's posting his guns on instagram again.

And I don't mean his muscles.

James will be James.

I don't hate him, that would make me a hypocrite, because I primarily always look out for #1 too.

Those of us who want regime chance for the Steelers are being hypocritical if we hold disdain for James Harrison. However, he's with the evil empire so fuck him.

James is on his own now to figure out how to derail NE....

How is it being hypocritical? Tomlin and the front office are irrelvant here. He was flat out a shitty teammate because he was thinking about himself only. What does that say about the man? No excuses or reasons for it. Honestly, anyone that has played organized sports at any level should understand this.

Most of us think that Harrison had a point and that the Steelers as a team would have been better off had they played him more. Anyone who has played organized sports also knows that sometimes the coaches are wrong but can't face it / won't admit it. I don't blame Harrison with having a problem with the Defensive coaching staff, especially given how things fell apart at the end of the season.

This looks like another thread that can be wrapped into the 116 page Harrison omnibus thread.

Yes, maybe they want him to actually play, they don't need info on the Steelers anymore, maybe they can pick his brain about how the Jags beat up the Steelers in October.

I would have had Deebo split time with Dupree all year because Deebo is better at football. Then there would have been no issue and splitting snaps keeps them both involved.

I think this is where I am at. I will not root for him until he is free of the evil empire.
As a side note, he made things awkward for my brother (whose only jersey is a Harrison jersey) and myself (who tried to summon the ghost of Harrison past via jersey when I wanted us to man up and play real D) these past few weeks.

This is where I am at. We literally needed over the course of the game probably 2 maybe 3 plays in important situations to get off the field Would have changed the whole outcome. I'm talking about a hurry, stretching out a run, a sack etc. We could not generate these plays to end drives. I have absolutely zero doubt that King James (thats for all the haters here and there are many   ) playing 20 snaps would have generated 2 or 3 plays in big situations that would have been game effecting. None. In fact if James played the whole game in Dupree's spot I am certain we win that game cause he would have done something to effect the game where Dupree did absolutely nothing.

So, in my opinion cutting #92 cost the Steelers a huge game. James is having the last laugh

I loved James Harrison the player. I've never liked James Harrison the person.

But but but. We had to cut Harrison. Everyone else was far too important to the roster.

Even McCullers that doesn’t dress.

Maybe James Harrison is done. He was still better than some of the options we had on the roster.

You could a guy you might need and might help THIS year for some guys with very questionable upside who very well might not, and hopefully will not, make the team next year.
