Steelers WR Eli Rogers tore ACL near the end of Sunday's playoff loss to the Jaguars.

Add slot WR/PR to the draft needs, unless they can work it out with Demarcus Ayers.

Meh, depends. Chris Harris tore his ACL in the 2014 playoffs and was back for Week 1. Heath Miller tore the ACL & MCL in December of that same year and was back by Week 3 of the next season. Eli could easily be ready by the start of next year.

That said, Eli is a JAG and a cheap FA can replace his production.

Sucks for him, but makes him cheaper to sign if need be, I guess. SBI 'n all.

Ok, Ayers is never going to be an NFL player. Eli isn’t either. Go look at the draft for this role. I like Deshaun Hamilton from Penn State later in the draft.

Well, we rarely run 4-wides, anyway. Have AB, JuJu and Bryant back next year, so we're talking depth. And Eli will most likely be ready Wk1 (not that he shouldn't have competition).

Imagine this is great news for DHB.

Just hate hate hate to spend draft picks on role players on offense right now. Hate it.

Also, Arians and Fichtner both had/have history of liberally rotating WRs/personnel. Haley has the opposite reputation. Chances are the new OC will rotate WRs of different skill sets and we don't have another quick slot guy.

DHB will have a 6 year contract extension by this time tomorrow.

Eli was undrafted. Maybe they can find another UDFA to fill his role.
