I'm starting to lean towards rooting for the Pats. I'm starting to respect them more. The Jags were talking mad shit last week. I found myself not caring if the Pats came back to win.

I honestly don't care about the 6 SB trophies thing. Maybe I would if they were passing the Steelers, but a tie doesn't bother me. Maybe that will light a fire under EMR's ass to get this team to another championship.

I'd love to see Deebo lift another Lombardi and would like to send the glossy photo of that to Herm Tomlin's office.

On the other hand, Philly fans are also helping to push me towards the Pats camp.

I think it will simply come down to this......What outcome will result in Philly burning to the ground to a larger extent?

A Philly win or a Philly loss?

I'm rooting for a tie. Only half of a SB trophy for each team.

I'm rooting for the Apocalypse to happen shortly before kickoff.

I'm rooting for the Eagles, and it's not even close.

The only possible silver lining in a Pats victory for me would be if, somehow, James Harrison was named Super Bowl MVP. That could persuade Art2 to turn up the heat on Tomlin & Co.

I was onboard with rooting for Philadelphia until they started getting insufferable mid-week.

And then there's this:

Lets grow up people. A tie or bomb in the stadium does not count.

Worrying about the Pats tying the steelers Super Bowl trophies is akin to Packer fans claiming to be the greatest because of all the pre-Super Bowl NFL Championships. It's sad.

The FACT is, the Pats are already placed in the history books as the greatest dynasty in NFL history. Sad but true and another win or lose won't change that.

This. There is nothing to discuss.

I do respect the Pats but that does not matter.

Yeah, this is kind of where I'm at. I am as anti-Patriots as the next guy. But living amongst the eagles faithful can wear anyone out. Right now I'm still Go Eagles... but there is a chance that could change by kickoff. I'll probably just declare victory from the consolation prize from which ever team prevails.

If Carson Wentz was still the QB, I'd be rooting for them.

Carson is the Real Deal...if he can stay healthy.

Eagles might not be able to slay the Patriots' Dragon this time around, but they WILL get over the hump one day with Wentz as QB.

Packers have a great, storied, and proud history. One of the coolest franchises in the league.

Not pulling for the Steelers to remain on top of the Lombardi mountain is sports bizzaro world (in my view)

I want the pats to lose in humiliating fashion.

I want brady to get his ass kicked, re-injure his hand, and I want Harrison to break his leg on the first defensive series. Then I want Gronk to hit somebody after the whistle because he didn't get a call, and get ejected.

Then I want Blount to get a concussion and not return.

I want Nick Foles to have the game of his career.

GO Eagles!!

Unfortunately, Nick Foles already had the game of his career.

I think to expect a second one...against Bill Belichick...is too much to ask.

And Todd Pederson WILL make a totally brain dead decision at a critical point in the game.

Book it.

Rooting for Philly. But if NE wins, which they likely will, one last reminder to tomlin about how big of a failure this season was, and that Bill B. completely owns his dumbass would be OK. I hate the Pats and Brady, though.

Agreed, Havoc. Why is wanting the Steelers to stay the only team with 6 Lombardis sad? Keeping track of history for bragging rights is one of the main reasons for following teams.

It's already universally accepted that the Pats have had the greatest dynasty ever. That was the bragging rights, That time has passed. I'm leaning towards hoping the Pats tie the Steelers. This organization is lacking in motivation.

Yes i am here, Eagles are due. They are owed from 2004, enough said. If their lines dictate play and the refs are hands off. They should get it done.

Just as i thought Jax had a legit chance to knock off the pats, i think the Eagles do as well, this will also be a tight game.

Be cool for another franchise to have six.

Philly fans are the worst. I can’t cheer for Brady ever. I recently learned from CNN that there are asteroids out there that are an immediate danger to Earth. Maybe one can hit Minneapolis on Super Bowl Sunday.

I'm starting to agree with swiss. You really aren't a true steeler fan. Figures. You didn't grow up in Western Pa.

You have questionable fandom. You should be wearing some kind of gold A or something. Either that or an asterisk next to your avatar.

You're from texas, after all.

It's true. When the Oilers lost the AFCCG to the Bills when the Oilers were up by like 55 points, something inside died.

But I am a Steelers fan. Even so, I just can't get worked up about the Pats.
