LA Chargers 2018 Haul:

1.17 Vita Vea, NT, Washington
2.48 Orlando Brown Jr., OT, Oklahoma
3.84 Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma St.
4.119 Jordan Lasley, WR, UCLA
5.155 Godwin Igwebuike, S, Northwestern
6.191 Dimitri Flowers, RB, Oklahoma
7.251 Colby Gossett, G, Appalachian State

Loved that Vitameatavegamin fell to us at 17. I haven't seen a Mock Draft yet that had him going that far down. Orlando Brown, Jr., had a bad combine, but he was solid with the Sooners, so we'll give him the benefit of the doubt. We think Phillip Rivers will be a great mentor to Mason Rudolph, and that Rudolph will seamlessly take over the reins from him. We really believe Godwin Igwebuike at safety is a sleeper pick and may turn out to be the star of this class.

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 B2B draft class.

2 37 PIT (fr NYJ via CLE) - B2B - Shaquem Griffin, S/LB, Central Florida
2 60 PIT - B2B - Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State
3 72 PIT fr NYJ via CLE) - B2B - Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis
3 82 PIT (fr DET) -B2B - Uchenna Nwosu, LB, Southern California
5 148 PIT - B2B - Skai Moore, LB, South Carolina
6 183 PIT (fr LAR via MIA) - Dane Cruikshank, S, Arizona
6 196 PIT (fr LAR) - B2B - Chris Warren, RB, Texas
7 220 PIT - B2B - Folorunso Fatukasi, DL, Connecticut
7 246 PIT - B2B - Darius Jackson, EDGE, Jacksonville State

I think I may have made a mistake in drafting Miller-- if I had just stuck with my picks and drafted Nwosu there, then I would have gotten Ballage and Deontay Burnett at 196, which would have been outstanding. Also made a minor mistake taking Warren at 196 and then having to sweat it out for Fatukasi to fall, which he did. Otherwise, I feel pretty good about this draft. I understand that not too many have bought into the Shaquem train but, even if he struggles, I built in some insurance.

This is a class I could get behind... really nice mix.

Thanks again for all your work on this, B2B. Total dedication and it's really appreciated. And hope your mom is doing better.

Yes B2B, nice draft haul. As others have said, thanks for taking the time to run this and also hope your mom is improving each day.

I don't really care for Marcus Allen at all... but despite that, this is an excellent class. Bryan is a great fit, Corbett and Madison fit their stye, Burnett is the youngest SPAQish WR in the draft and Deluca really worth a shot. Heart and soul of a good defense.

Vita Vea is a pretty good palce to start for the Chargers, Orlando Brown is a great player who dogged it at the combine or something-- a steal at 2.48. I hate Rudolph for a Steelers team with a ton of holes on D and a competitive window but I like him a ton in Round 3. Lasley testd poorly but he's a gamer. I love Flowers as a multi-tool. Igwebuike is a boom or bust guy-- worth a shot.

5.144 Chad Thomas, EDGE/DE, Miami (FL)
6.180 Roc Thomas, RB, Jacksonville State
6.192 Skyler Phillips, OG, Idaho State
6.202 Kentavius Street, DT, NC State
7.255 Nick Nelson, CB, Wisconsin

TB needs help in the trenches, but Derwin fits them. Hernandez is a solid pick. Roc Thomas has an Auburn pedigree-- he's got something. Nick Nelson at 255 is an outrageous steal. SPARQ darling who can probably play anywhere in the secondary.

7.243 Aaron Stinnie OL James Madison

Ian Thomas is my favorite selection here-- probably the second or third best TE in the class near end round 3. I so wanted to fall for Ola Adeniyi, but I found both his tape and his testing lacking. Marquis Haynes and Korey Robertson are both solid back end of the draft picks and Stinne the DL convert sounds worth a shot.

I agree on Ola's testing being underwhelming, but his tape is definitely solid. Watch the Miami Hurricanes tape, or the MAC championship from this year. I think he goes in the 6th round range.

I did watch Miami tape. I wouldn't take him top 100, and I wouldn't take him ahead of Darius Jackson, Rolland-Jones, Mata'afa, or Bellamy, probably not ahead of Fitts. Somewhere after that, I'd take a shot, based on his age.

FROm STD

19 S Ronnie Harrison
50 CB Carlton Davis
81 WR Dante Pettis
116 LB /ATH Hercules Mata'afa
137 RB John Kelly
171 LB Andre Smith
173 DL DuVonta Lampkin
193 LB Airius Moore
206 DL Travontay Valentine
238 DL Dee Liner

All the Cowboys losses last year except Seattle and San Diego....they got HAMMERED in the run game by the opposing teams leading rb....something like ranging from 4.3 to over 8 yds per carry iirc ?....on top of the Eagles are huge at the guard positions....factor in Hitchens leaving ....Lee breaking down....and the other guy i cant remember his name right now....just being less than great...

The Cowboys needed DTs and LBs....a legit backup for EE and a WR on the rise will greatly help too...A big CB to counter A Jeffery....and a great S....Dallas is pretty content with their draft...although Moores pro day was less than great...id take someone else there next time

Yeah, I wouldn't touch him until round 6.
