Now...I would have tried to pass for the first down there.

The clock was stopping anyway.

Get the first down...take three knees...win.

Even if the pass is incomplete...take a knee...kick FG...then they need a TD and two point conversion anyway.

So failure on a pass equals the same result anyway.

Igloos shoulda passed on 2nd down with 2;03 left...is that what you're saying, Jeems?

Swiss.... You dancing all day in work this week.?

Dancing...yes!! Ocean...nope...reserved for Steelers

Gronk is a douchebag but an unreal talent.

He commits blatant OPI on virtually every pass play and it's almost never called. Just that Buffalo game where they called him once or twice and he flipped out.

The last Hail Mary, he literally committed the most blatant and brutal OPI I have ever seen in my entire life watching football at any level.

Lol at the predictable crying that the league is fixed. Go watch something else then, this SB has been great.

Risk aversion....fear of the unknown....

I think more and more the X's and O's and Mon-Sat are kind of commodities, and the guys who bring something to gameday are rare. I think there are literally HUNDREDS of Tomlins out there, just waiting for a chance. Some of them are probably MUCH better on Sundays.

I give Howie Roseman credit for seeing something in Pederson no one else did.

Seriously...this guy gave NO indication he was one of those M-Sat guys when he first got here.

Not in his record as an OC under Reid (who never lets OCs shine anyway). Not innhis speechnor mannerisms.

Then he started actually doing the job...

He had to go for it, but you’re right that Tomlin would have punted.

If Tomlin had a playcaller with that kind of moxie and smarts, he might have gone for it, too.

AB has some pretty subtle moves himself. We'd cream ourselves if we had Gronk.

No, that's the HC call all the way - it's why they're paid the big bucks. Tomlin's infamous gut punts that every time, and we all know it.

No more excuses for Tomlin and Big Ben next year. None.

Tomlin IS Big Ben's excuse

I notice Foles threw no interceptions. And what do you know? 42 points won it.

um... he threw an interception

Darrell Green has exactly what relation to this game?

They're humiliating a Washington Redskin by making him deliver the Lombardi to their NFC East Rivals, the Eagles. It's a way to get a subtle dig in against Daniel Snyder.

Probably not, but I like to think this is the case.

My best guess is because he won one of his SBs in Minnesota..... home of Jim Kelly's 2nd SB loss and better yet, Brady's 3rd :D
