I'll never understand the obsession with Pryor.

I think Prior would be an upgrade over DHB. He is fast, and may actually get out of bounds with no time outs left. I don't think he will get much money after flaming out with the Skins. He isn't a star, but could help our depth.

Anyway I agree that Sanders a better fit elsewhere.

Before spending a lot of money on a FA ILB, bear in mind this draft is loaded at ILB and has few quality safeties.

I sign one and draft one. Very thin at ILB and Vincenzo is in the final year of his deal.

I sign a value buy FA AND draft two. Dire situation.

As stated in another thread, it does appear KC ILB, Derrick Johnson, will be available. He states he wants to play where he has a chance to win a Championship. I could see him handling 1st and 2nd down responsibilities here. Is his reported 2005 combine short shuttle time correct? 3.87 seconds is crazy for anyone, much less 6'3"/243. Even losing a step, he's still faster than anything we have in the middle. Doubt he'd cost to much either.

I don't know that the Steelers would consider adding a high priced FA WR, but it wouldn't be the most far-fetched, especially now that Haley is gone-- really pigeonholed Sanders.

Right, so it was Haley's fault he dropped all those passes.

He has always had a lower than average drop rate in his career. It’s only here st steelerfury that it’s an alternate universe where he’s a JAG.

He was when he was a Steeler. Extremely unreliable. I would've thought you'd hate his guts after he dissed Ben in favor of Peyton after the move to Denver.
