5.148 is not a sure thing. Will be decided by coin flip on March 2nd. There's been no official announcement about the Ross Cockrell pick yet, either, so I would take 7.220 with a grain of salt, too.

Nice to see the Ravens get a 6th when many were thinking they were going to get a 3rd.

One of the things that I always forget about is that there is a cap on the number of compensation picks given out each year.

Argue all you want for this and that, this formula and that, playing time, this contract cancelling out that, etc. The fact remains that the NFL only gives out 32 comp picks each and every year. And there are 32 NFL teams. I can see scenarios where a team should get something but doesn't because of this arbitrary number/cap that the NFL has established for comp picks.

Oh well, not going to get anything for Timmons but will have Timmons back regardless once he is cut by Miami and resigns with the Steelers.

Thought the steelers were getting a 6th for the cockrell deal because of the number of snaps he played? Or is btsc full of it?

According to the site I linked the Steelers exchanged their 6th RND pick (202) with the Browns pick (180). Steelers get Pick 180, Browns get pick 202. I assume that was for Gilbert/Coates trades... Then that link also shows the 49'ers exchanged pick 148 (which could change again because of the coin toss between the 9'ers and the Raiduhs) and TE McDonald for the Steelers 4th RND pick 128. Then it looks like the site I linked to also states the Steelers get the Giants 7th RND pick 220.

1. 28
2. 60
3. 92
5. 148 (9'ers could change coin toss)
5. 165
6. 180 (Browns)
7. 220 (Giants) Maybe
7. 246

It's missing the trade for J.J. Wilcox. We gave up a 6th this year in exchange for Wilcox and the Bucs '19 7th round pick. If you don't remember he's the guy who hardly played all year and we'll be cutting soon. :D
