Having gone to grad school at CMU, it is my highly worthless opinion that da Judge could become the new Gronk....

hey, this is the organization that had the best offseason roster IN YEARS a few years ago. It was also the organization that pulled off the greatest MLB trade in the history of mankind. The Pirates absolutely swindled the Braves by acquiring a pitcher with a career ERA of 4.41 and 18 more losses than wins.

The Steelers better take fucking notice and pay attention.

The thing is, I KNOW there are people at CMU who have done, or are doing, this work. I posted a database a while back that was crawled from the play-by-play game summaries. Pretty sure that was the brainchild of a couple CMU grad students. And there have been other related projects I've seen/heard about out of there.

So I wasn't joking when I said they should go to CMU....
