This.

I didn't know his name until now...I'll likely forget it before morning.

you guys are NFL fans and havent heard of Jalen Ramsey? Anyway. He just got suspended a week by the Jags brass for conduct unbecoming and as soon as he's out of the clink he starts spouting off again. Hes really blossoming into a full on diva. Coughlin is not happy.

Ramsey's perspective is skewed greatly - seems to be based solely on how those QB's fared against his team. Ben, overall, didn't fare well against the Jags. The regular season loss was abysmal, and his WR's didn't have great games as a unit. The playoff loss, Ben basically spotted them 14 points. From any defender's point of view, the QB is liable. Not right/wrong - just skewed.

Doug Marrone is a solid coach, and he's getting help from Tom Coughlin - the Jags will be a solid outfit for a few years. They may not be 12-4, but they are loaded with size, talent, and speed. The QB & WR corps are where they have the least talent. Everywhere else, they're blue chipped.

This goes to show you how much a QBs C2 salary can affect a team. Right now the Jags are where the Seahawks were 6 years ago- great defense (below average offense). The ironic part is if they went out and upgraded the QB position and added some top 25 WRs then the rest of the team would not be as good- just like the Seahawks now.

I thought what the Rams did in the offseason was akin to salary cap black magic until I realized that most of the real talent on that team was (at the time) still on rookie deals. That is a HUGE advantage when you have your QB of the future, your ALL PRO RB of the future, and at least one threat at the WR position on a rookie deal. That team is going to be a total trainwreck of personalities but hats off to them for going for it.

I love all of the negative attention the Jags are bringing on themselves.

I feel a Blake Bortles implosion.... 8-8 kind of season coming.

NE-PIT-JAX

That's how I have the AFC tiers.

PHI
MIN-LAR
ATL-NO-GB-DAL-SF-CAR-DET
WAS-SEA-CHI-NYG
TB-AZ

Outside of the Titans, your AFC tiers are spot on in my opinion. May argue the Bungles will be in the bottom tier as well. I think they are going to be absolute garbage this year.

I disagree - it’s one thing to be skewed (he is actually on the mark when he says Ben was disappointing in the Jags games last year) but it’s something else entirely to say this

“It’s not Big Ben, it’s [Antonio Brown]. Big Ben slings the ball a lot of the time. He just slings it, and his receivers go get it. He has a strong arm, but he ain’t all that.”

Ben has made many, many receivers look good over the years and very few that have left have looked anywhere near as good with another QB. Emanuel Sanders, Plaxico and maybe Santonio are really the only ones to do anything special after leaving Ben. On the other hand how many JAGs has Ben made look special - Ced Wilson, Randel El, Nate Washington, etc. Mike Wallace looked like a HOFer with Ben and has been totally hit or miss since leaving and Cotch had an amazing comeback when teamed up with Ben.

It’s hard to say how good even the great ones like Hines & Brown would have been had they been with someone else - their work ethic would likely have carrier them but I’d argue that Ben put them over the top into another level.

I'm a Steelers fan. The rest of the NFL is irrelevant.

IMO he's got Joe Flacco and Andrew Luck just about where they should be.
The rest of his blather ... just trying to make a bigger name for himself. Kill Yr Idols and all that.

That POS call is why the Steelers are the only reason I pay attention to the NFL .

Garbage.
