Yeah man if you want discipline Urban fucking Meyer is the guy.

I'd prefer wins. The man's teams perform just fine on the football field, sir.

Players never pop off in the media.

Special teams has been outstanding since he's been there.

Never seen an unprepared Ohio State team under him, or one that fails to rally around adversity when it happens.

Rarely outcoached, and has outcoached the best in the business on a relatively regular basis.

Was Harbaugh a good coach in San Fransisco? He's Urban's prison girlfriend at this point.

Yeah, hard pass on Meyer.

Plus, when things get tough he'll start clutching his chest and feign passing out again. He's a liar and a pussy. (no disrespect OSU fans lols)

IMHO, Butler and all defensive coaches are on some really hot seats. I will again compare this to 2002 and Tim Lewis making a mess. Steelers miss the playoffs the bare minimum that needs to happen is to remove Butler and the rest of the coaches. I would hope they look at Aaron Glenn ( Saints) and Brian Flories(Pats). I would guess they hire Darrin Perry (Packers).

If looking in the college ranks I consider Danny Gonzales, , Arizona State and Alex Grinch Ohio State but they will not.

Neither do the coaches wives.

This thread is ridiculous. What, no love for Shemp? Yinz got to be kidding me!

How about a Bob Stoops as a Linebacker coach?

If there was ever an inkling of a new HC, right now, I'd lean Munchak

I've been patient and I've really tried to like Danny Smith. I've tried to give him the benefit of doubt for years now. But, two games in and they're trying out Punters AND Long Snappers. That's firing mid season bad to me. It's time. This would be Shemp's best fit.

Porter and Smith need replaced at the very least this off season. After two games, I'm worried about our new secondary coach choice too. It appears a communications guru he is not. He does deserve some more time I guess, BUT I'm not sure we have it. I'd at least be bring him in an assistant, Rod Woodson maybe.

A Tom Coughlin type with a new position like Locker-Room Coach/Off-Field Coach/Player Personality Coach etc., may be an idea also.

I don’t know about the latter two, but some guys who I’ve wanted to kick the tires on as a head coach are Gus Edwards, DC for the Vikings and Dan Campbell, assistant HC and TE coach for the Saints.

Matt Canada has a good offensive mind, may be able to contribute as a QB coach, since apparently Fitch doesn't have one yet.

Don't know too much about the Vikes current DC, Smith, but given the current situation, caveat emptor.

Maybe. But Nick has an incredible mind for offense.

And STD could hire Sir William Pitt the Elder to handle the D.

I have seen Nick give offense to many posters over the years, and I can endorse this.

No thanks on Matt Canada. Supposedly a more arrogant, less talented Todd Haley.

Now 'If' after replacing both an OC and a DC in a few seasons.., if there still isn't some resolve... time for the Steelers to relieve Tomlin of his position after looking at other more qualified HC candidates.
