From Article:
Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown did not report for work on Monday, one day after he appeared upset on the field and left the locker room in a hurry following a 42-37 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, several team sources told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

It is not clear if Brown’s absence was excused by coach Mike Tomlin, but several sources indicated they did not know why Brown didn’t show up with the rest of his teammates for meetings and film review.

Probably filming another commercial.

Tomlin in his PC seemed to confirm it wasn't excused just now ("Look forward to visiting with him. Not going to get into whether it was excused or not.")

Jesus, Bell is one thing...no AB is quite another. Tomlin is definitely going to have to earn his paycheck this year.

I'm on board with the crowd who thinks that mysterious training camp injury is still lingering.

But, WTF?!?! Practically a must-win game coming up, and without a really good excuse you HAVE to sit his ass down.

I really don't understand why AB is pouting. His YPC and Comp% are down, but he's on pace for 144 catches, 1280 yards and 8 TD's....not exactly numbers to be crying about, even for AB.

It looks like he's there today, per his Instagram. Hopefully he cleared his head yesterday.

Sounded like something I would say when an old teammate is in town for a few days...Unreal.

Allow me to wet the bed a little...

Pouting, trade demands, missing practice....does that sound like another receiver some may remember?

Enjoy the drama, folks! PIT may not win many games this year, but the off-the-field stuff will be as good as any reality show on tv!

You guys are hilarious, in that you think the HC should be 100% honest about anything in the Press Conferences. WWBD?

I agree with you, it's all bullshit. It was just the way he said it, like hanging out with friends. "We'll have time to speak about it today" sounds a hell of a lot more business like.

Yes. We are over reacting a bit.
He is not going to come out and say he has no idea or something to the effect.

Until we learn more, if we learn more, we will have to assume Tomlin has full control of this team and his players.

Start putting feelers out to teams to see what he's worth.

We aren't going to be Super Bowl contenders for awhile again anyway.

Two shitty performances by the team overall to start the season doesn’t help.

Winning cures everything.

This shit has to stop.
Tomlin must take control of this team and locker room
I think we are the point...AB cant play against Tampa.

Facebook live from the locker room
Bouchette incident
ESPN incident
This is not an isolated incident.

AB has zero respect for Tomlin or the franchise.

All that being said.

Ben didnt make AB
Bell didnt make AB

AB made AB by working his craft as hard as any player in the NFL. He is 5 foot nothing. 185 pounds in his 3 piece suit. He is a 4.5 guy who was to frail and slight to play in this league.

Scarpino leveled the perfect comment to make this a perfect shit show storm

Is it possible this has something [a lot?] to do with money?

OBJ just signed a 5-yr deal averaging $19M per year. Antonio Brown is in the first year of his 4 year extension paying an average of $17M per year.

So, starting 0-1-1 with his numbers when you're maybe hoping to ask for more money after this year? That might cause some pouting.

Antonio Brown's agent insists his client does not want a trade and says his Monday absence was related to a "personal matter."
"I talked to the team about it," rep Drew Rosenhaus said. "His issue was unrelated to the tweet or his relationship with the team." We actually take Rosenhaus at face value that Brown does not want to be traded. His tweet was clearly just a frustrated player blowing off steam to a Twitter troll. As for Brown's Monday absence, the team has yet to say it was excused. We are not expecting any long-term consequences, but the sides' relationship is certainly looking a bit frosty right now.
