As good as Bell is, let's face it...he's slow and really stutter steps alot before he goes through a hole. Ravens defense is fast and will shut him down, no way he rushes for over 100yds tomorrow. Most of our receivers are hurt as well, so there won't be much of a passing game or run game. AB will be double covered so we really need our other receivers to step up, but will they?

Rats have been a terrible road team this year but they always play us tough, just look at last year for reference. This game is going to be a nail biter.

I expect nothing less.

But we pay Ben, Bell, and Brown to be playmakers.

They have to step up.

Today Derek Carr went down with a broken fibula.

The road to the AFFCG in Foxboro is waiting for us, with only Matt Moore and Matt McGloin in the way.

It will never be any easier...we HAVE to seize the moment.

I think Bell runs for over 100 yards and drags his thigh slapper all over that weak ass defense.

This is Steeler football in December. Heinz should be hyped.

You guys must live in your fears or something.

I was expecting the Steelers to fucking stomp all over Harbaugh & Steve Smith tomorrow. Not sure who's in or out but without Tuitt & Heyward already out. Plus being down, Bryant, Wheaton, DHB, coates & Ladarius Green I can't see us Stomping the shit out of them.

I only see us Kicking their ass pretty handily.

Tomlin needs too and WILL coach his off tomorrow. Sants has always been good to me. The Ravens don't have a chance................

Really? You would disagree that he's slow and takes his sweet ass time before he hits a hole? Bell is still a VERY good back because of his cutting ability and pass catching skills but he's not fast.

that's all I see. the typical steeler -raven war of attrition..nerves shot after game. hoping I'm happy. love to see a steelers ass whipping of Baltimore . but who am I kidding. as most games I believe its a game with fewest turnovers and fuckups wins!

This. I can't believe how people on this site bitch about, of all players, Bell. Truly boggles my mind. I'm assuming it's that he didn't go to my favorite Big 10 college thing?

Instead of bitching about Bell, how about bitching about Haley slamming Bell into the teeth of 8 man fronts every single 1st and 2nd downs when they know it's coming? If it were me, I would run a fast paced O with Ben in the gun and Bell either beside him or in the pistol.

Until we have a proven #2 or #3 (healthy), it won't change much.

The fact that Bell is patient and waits for holes to develop rather than just run up the butt of the lineman in front of him is considered a STRENGTH of his.

I agree he's not the fastest back in the NFL, but he's fast enough.

I'll come back tomorrow when Bell has under 100 rushing yards and I'll say....told you guys. His style doesn't work against the Ravens.

But who runs for 100 plus against the Ravens? That's what I thought.

Bell is a special player, a generational player. If we lose tomorrow and he doesn't have a 100 yards, well then point to the dumbfucks wearing the headsets on the sideline that couldn't scheme this guy the ball. He's a top three RB but also our second best WR at this point.

Give him the goddamn ball.

Playing against backup QBs on the lower tier teams in the playoffs!

Anyways, Munchaks Men against the Trench Rats, that's the pivotal battle. That and Deebo being able to make Burt look through his earhole. Win those two battles: we win the TO battle and with that chalk up a V in the win column

22 carries, 129 yards, and one sweet ass TD. All the way back to... last year. I know, a lifetime ago. With no threat of the pass. He also tore them up his rookie year until he got his bell rung.

You can argue with yourself about whether or not he'll run for 100+ tomorrow, but saying his style doesn't work against the Ravens is flat out wrong.

Merry Christmas troll I'm rough in the steelers but no doubt in my mind steelers win convincingly. The raven 2016 charade is over.

Jeemie, I'm guessing a couple hundred thousand posts ago you thought playing Denver "backup" Tim tebow was going to be "easy" too. Santas on his way boys...careful what you wish for

Does everyone remember the Rams game last year. We were facing a dominant defensive line that could flat out get after it, we came out that game shotgun spread and Ben drove easily down the field by completing five yard pass after five yard pass, basically the New England formula. I expect the same type of approach for tomorrow's game as well. Get Ben in a rythem early and keep moving the chains, mix in a run here and there but use Bell at slot more often than not. We do this we win handily.
