Quote:
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown recorded a Facebook Live video shortly after the team’s 18-16 victory Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs.
In the video, coach Mike Tomlin can be heard off camera giving his address to the team, referring to Pittsburgh’s next opponent – the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game – with a profane label.
“When you get to this point in the journey, men, not a lot needs to be said,” Tomlin is overheard saying off-camera. “Let’s say very little moving forward. Let’s just start our preparations. We spotted those a------- a day and a half. They played yesterday. Our game got moved to tonight. We’re going to touch down at  4 o’clock in the f------- morning. So be it. We’ll be ready for that ass. But you ain’t gotta tell them we coming. Because some of us might not like the damn (inaudible) and s---. It’s the chest pounding, right?  Keep a low profile and let’s get ready to ball out again in a few days and be right back at it. Hey, man, that’s our story.”
Steelers might lull Patriots to sleep with this kind of effort

Tomlin did not appear to be aware he was being recorded.
Right after Tomlin finished speaking to the team, a Steelers player – also off-camera – is heard urging the team to “keep it cool on social media.”

I dunno probably much ado about nothing but no doubt Pats will use it for motivation.

At first I didn't like it. Now I think it's strategic. Tomlin excels in this area, cheerleading, I mean motivation.

He knew this would get out. He wants his team to know that he has confidence in them and that he isn't afraid of taking his guys to Foxboro.

The more I think about it, the more I like it.

I was watching AB's live feed and heard it. I couldn't tell who was speaking but loved the message.

Saying don't give then bulletin board material and we'll be ready for them is not bulletin board material though. Neither team should really need motivation at this point with what's at stake.

Of course you can't stop these guys from being themselves. .... I remember Cowher saying the same thin before SB XL in Detroit but Joey couldn't help himself.

Speaking of Joey, glad he's on the team plane tonight and no duking it out on the Southside. We don't need any distractions.

I highly doubt Tomlin wanted those comments made public. But who gives a shit. The game is played on the field.

Obviously Tomlin's speech was meant for the Players Only.

Could be the end of 17 minute Locker room live videos by AB.

If it starts making waves in the press I have strong feeling Mikey T will have something to say about his players doing facebook live in the locker room post game.

the HC shouldn't have to tell his players that private coaches meetings shouldn't be broadcast on the internet

Only a dumbass would not understand that

uh, you're giving the intelligence of the average NFL player WAY too much credit.
