Nice recognition for Shaz who has played at a high level when healthy. Shaz joins Ben, AB, Bell, Decastro, and Pouncey. Bell (groin) and Ben (been there done that) aren't going.

In no way does this ease the pathetic AFCCG result. But a nice thing for Shaz who ironically replaces CJ Mosley.

Forgot all about him considering how MIA he was on Sunday.

Tomlin's first defensive pro bowl draft pick in his last 40 tries, and it comes because a player we passed on backed out of the game.

Perch, from the Cincinnati Playoff game when Shaz caused a fumble to the present, how would you rate Shaz compared to Mosley? CJ is arguably better, but the gap has closed significantly. CJ makes plays that Shaz can't make, but Shaz makes plays that CJ can't make.

The league was willing to overlook his wrist circumference issues?

Lamarr Woodley and Lawrence Timmons were both Pro Bowl level players at various points, whether they got the pub or not. Cam Heyward was a top 5 player at his position last year.

If you're going to trash him for the defensive picks, you damn well better give him credit for drafting the best WR in team history in the sixth round, the best RB in team history in the second round when all the draft experts on this board were pining for fat Lacy and didn't want to touch Bell until two rounds later, finding and realizing the potential in Villanueva, and putting together a top 2-3 o-line in football.

I only stated a fact, no commentary on any player. 1 pro bowler out of 40 picks doesn't cut it brown level shit.

Does anyone else want to talk about how Shaz compares to CJ Mosley now? My argument is that the level of play Shazier has produced from the Cincinnati playoff game (when he forced a fumble to win the game) through the 2016 season has closed the gap with CJ. I would still put CJ slightly higher because of his consistency and health. But Shazier's ability to create turnovers, causing fumbles, snagging interceptions and delivering big hits, and Shazier's improved ability to read plays, has brought Shaz to the next level this season. Shaz is deserving of the Pro Bowl, and hopefully his good health, and quality play continue.
