The only WR anyone would want is Coates and he's making the team.

I think you guys are really overestimating the WR depth.
AB, MB, Coates, Eli, JuJu are making the team...there will likely be another(DHB?).
Even if there isn't, why would anyone make a trade for DHB, Hunter, Ayers, or Hamilton. If they want any of them...just wait til they're cut. If they miss out, they'll be 15-20 other JAGs just like them available.

I'm not so sure this year? I'm thinking we have DHB OR Hunter, Hamilton, Ayers, RB Fitz, one of either Cockrell OR Sensenbagh if the trade is for a CB, Gay, McCullers, Robert Golden, Johnson ILB, Johnson TE, I don't want to see this one but OL Feiler and maybe one or two others that I can't think of. I think any of those and/or a package deal for a few could pull a safety to upgrade Golden, a CB to upgrade Cockrell/Sensenbagh, an ILB depth upgrade MAYBE.

Bears lost arguably their best receiver in an already thin group. WIth CB Fuller (A tomlin draft interest) possibly available.

Then there are teams like the Jets & maybe the Jags looking for players. How bout SF? With these new cut-down rules you may find a team willing to bite to ensure they get the players. I would do it to ensure we got someone like Fuller from the Bears. Maybe a trade to pry someone like Ramsey from the Jags

How about the Dolphins, Bills or the Skins? Their always looking for/making deals......I think all those players above are expendable, scratching the bottom of the roster or at the end of their Steeler days anyway.

And anyone of them could provide value to the right team with the right need.

I will be beyond fucking pissed off if a team that relies much more on a small ball run centered offense despite the fact it probably has the best qb/wr trio in the nfl....carries 6 wr at the sake of carrying Watson at RB....they dont even use the great WRs they have enough....and every year come up short at RB in the postseason....fuck

I doubt it seriously. First off, I agree with Jobus... who the hell would want any of our WRs besides AB, Bryant, Juju, or mayyyyyybe Coates.

Secondly, what CB are we actually going to get in trade that's a better risk than, say, Senquez Golson? Meaning, you bring in a guy you know nothing about, who's another man's trash--- at least Golson has talent if healthy.

Unless you bringing in a bona fide starter at CB or S, and are stick that guy right into the starting lineup... what's the point?

It won't happen. I may have better odds at winning a lottery jackpot. One can hope, pray and wish though.

3 years ago he did. No idea what Golson can do now.

Dude has played as much football as I have during that time.

It's a roll of the dice no matter what direction we go regarding Golson... but I hope we find a way to keep him.

Well, there was a Steelers trade.....just not for the position of greatest need. I like the McDonald trade. You get a player and didn't lose a draft pick.

The net present value cost of this trade is like a 7th round pick. Cost almost nothing.

The only WR I could see being traded would be Rogers for a 5-6th round pick.
