I will give him more time when the defense comes together as a whole.
Not giving up on him. Thought I saw some glimpses of improvement in his limited snaps in pre-season. Just not much impact in games yet.
I am rooting for him.

I would have to think Bud will look better with Tuit next to him a good number of snaps. He had this wrecking ball next to him all of three plays in three games?
He will also look better with Watt on the other side.

Like mentioned above, coaching is not helping him take the next step.

Lets see what he does on Sunday in the big division rival game.

Let me also add the Steelers are so poorly coached at linebacker.

Porter and Jerry O would be gone ASAP

The defensive backs showed marked improvement in tackling form....So Lake is getting a pass.

Football is all about blocking and tackling something the Steelers have done very poorly this season

Would Kevin Greene have been the better choice?

Is water wet?

You may be accurate FC. In the least underwhelming and disappointing thus far. 3 years of injuries and disappointing lack of production. Look like Tarzan play like Jane.

That's where I am on him as well Stosh. He's just a guy but was drafted to be better. He definitely needs to improve on the mental part of the game so that he can diagnose tendencies that would help him to play faster. I pray I'm wrong on my next statement but it seems he'll never be "the guy". He'll always be the guy that needs the great play from others to produce.

I believe the Steelers are #1 in sacks per dropback and #2 in QB pressures so far in 2017. FWIW.

Is that so? Watt hasn't played in two of the games, Tuitt played like two snaps, and Chickillo has, IIRC, three dong sacks.

Does that move him ahead of Dupree in career sacks?
