Steelers DE Stephon Tuitt (biceps) is hoping to return in Week 3.

Tuitt got in a limited practice last Friday, suggesting he's close. The Steelers may still opt against rushing Tuitt, as they won't need him to beat the lowly Bears in Week 3.

I agree with the "sit him" sentiment. We shouldn't need him this week.

On the flip side, this is a classic Steelers trap game.

I mean, if he can play and he's cleared by the doctors, I don't see a reason to sit him.

.

All hands on deck for any road game.

We're going to struggle to score points and we need our D to carry us.

I'd argue we won't face a real QB for the first 4 weeks

Agreed. If the docs clear him to play with out adverse effects, play him. Get him as many reps as he can handle. Need to keep the machine and its brain running.

It would just be really nice to get through a single game without losing anyone to injury. This is getting very annoying.

Well the last QB we faced on the road who wasn't real we beat by 3 whole points and the offense scored a whopping 14.

This team is not to be trusted on the road.

If he's healthy, he plays.

Injury wise, the Steelers are in fairly good shape compared to the rest of the NFL (*knocks on wood*).

23 teams had a starting player get banged up on Sunday.
