Giants and Jets both on at 1:00; aaaaah! this means it will be brutal getting a seat at local bar (yes, Jets fans still exist).

I imagine there's a good bit of alcohol involved in still being a Jest fan.

Good guess.

Anyone notice that little square of Browns game that is north of Pittsburgh? Holy shit would I be pissed if I lived an hour away from Pittsburgh in PA and they gave my town the Browns game. wow It looks like Grove City or New Castle

A little while ago I was thinking of moving back into the Pittsburgh area, and I was looking at how far north of the city you can live and still get KDKA the Pittsburgh CBS affiliate and hence the Steelers games, and it turns out you can't go very far north at all before it switches to the Youngstown CBS affiliate which is in the Browns viewing area. Doesn't surprise me at all that if you live an hour north of Pittsburgh, you're in Browns territory. That has to be frustrating as hell.

The way the Browns have been for the last 20 years. Their territory should NEVER cross the state line.

I'm stuck at the inlaws this weekend, so I need to duck out to a bar.

Having to explain to them how the NFL TV system works made me really appreciate how stupid it is.

Don't worry, the second half of the season will make up for that.

We'll be on national TV nearly every week.

Jack speaks the truth here. Your comment spurred me into action, copying down the whole season schedule into my calendar (which I hadn't done yet --- really miss it being posted on the "front page" of the 'Fury site) . . .

Anyway, gadzooks, I did not realize this season is really back loaded with big (i.e., televised) games: SNFs; a MNF; a Thursday NF; 2 late national Sundays; even, as Swiss might say, Christmas f***ing Day (again). After the nice, late mid-season bye week, it's go time, baby!

At least next week the Eagles are on at 4:05, and if KYW-3 shows any game at 1:00 other than Steelers/Ravens, I will go down to their offices and berate them loudly as to how idiotic they are.

Because these will be their other choices:

JAX @ NYJ
BUF @ ATL
CIN @ CLE
TN @ HOU
