Good point. I can't remember the last time either

What a fucking joke

You guys are the ones always clamoring for more 1pm games. I hate 1pm games. Thank god the local teams here will struggle to sell out, because otherwise I'm only going to get actual broadcasts for prime time games.

A fairly slim section of Steeler Nation receiving this week's Stillers / Bears tussle . . . Most of PA, and much of the Mid-Atlantic states area and upper Midwest gets free in-home coverage, while the rest of us (other than Portlandia and environs) must turn to alternative means of viewing.

BTW, out here within the sphere of the LaLaLand broadcast area, we've been expecting less Black & Gold than previous seasons due to the (re-)arrival of the stupid Rams and Chargers in town, but even on an optimal weekend like this, with both "home teams" scheduled outside the traditional Sunday daytime slots, CBS still screws us by broadcasting the Cheats/Texans game instead. Ah well . . .

I'm out on the Left Coast also, these game selections suck. Denver and the Bills? WTF

And the NFL wonders why ratings are down.

Giants and Jets both on at 1:00; aaaaah! this means it will be brutal getting a seat at local bar (yes, Jets fans still exist).

I've been to several of those- but only Sammy's for an actual Steeler game.

Cool

I imagine there's a good bit of alcohol involved in still being a Jest fan.

Don't worry, the second half of the season will make up for that.

We'll be on national TV nearly every week.

Anyone notice that little square of Browns game that is north of Pittsburgh? Holy shit would I be pissed if I lived an hour away from Pittsburgh in PA and they gave my town the Browns game. wow It looks like Grove City or New Castle

A little while ago I was thinking of moving back into the Pittsburgh area, and I was looking at how far north of the city you can live and still get KDKA the Pittsburgh CBS affiliate and hence the Steelers games, and it turns out you can't go very far north at all before it switches to the Youngstown CBS affiliate which is in the Browns viewing area. Doesn't surprise me at all that if you live an hour north of Pittsburgh, you're in Browns territory. That has to be frustrating as hell.
