It's like they want to piss off fans to the point of tuning out games. Catch, two feet down, football move, knees hits ground. The play should be over. This was the biggest bullshit call I've ever seen.

The NFL has repeatedly fucked with games over catch "criteria" that essentially enables refs to rule whatever the hell they want to.

Its not like this bullshit hasn't occurred in the past, and viewership hasn't declined.

That call made a game that was all but over a game. It was a horrendous call.

No other way to state it. Egregious, horrendous and worse officiating call..., Ever. Dan Fouts was in a baffled stance the whole time. Couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Like the rest of America.

I said during the game.....smart challenge if you're desperate. I also said if they overturned this I'd start buying the "script" meme.

Felt the same last week when they gave us that fumble. You're kidding yourself if you think the refs and the league don't do this to keep games closer. It's been reflected in point spreads (and results) for years.

I thought the elbow was clearly down before the ball broke the plain.

Maybe Tomlin is actually an evil genius that doesn't put teams away because he's just a company man.

Personally felt like it was the right call, but shouldn’t have been overturned due to how subjective it was.

Looked to me like AB was bobbling the ball most of the way through the catch. He had control for a brief second before the defender’s arm knocked it sideways again, but that’s not enough to establish possession.

Again, my opinion.

How come no one can be 100% sure of what is defined as a catch anymore? Was a horseshit call and unfortunately for the refs/nfl and the rats it didn't matter.

We all know what a catch is. Everyone has since they were 10 years old playing neighborhood games in your backyard.

But the rules allow the NFL to shape games in a way that keeps people watching. And I'll quit following it all when Ben retires.

That’s where I’m at. I thought he was bobbling it prior to his knee hitting down. Still can’t believe they reversed the call on the field, but I understand it.

As for the two pointer, it looked like the left elbow hit down and before the ball crossed. He had the ball tucked back near his hip as he was going down. Tough call, but I think they got it right.

Yes to everything else, but especially that. THAT is everything. End of story.

The "INT" was a joke. He had possession all the way until his knee hit. Just because the ball moves slightly as you have possession doesn't negate possession. It's not like there was a bobble.

The 2 point conversion was the right call. People were looking at his hip. If you look at elbow the ball was short.

Some members here call me crazy for saying they're fixing it to their liking

Some have seen the light amid many years of proof positive vs not believing

As long as they let Ben get over the mountain one more time.......I'll allow it.

That call today should wake up all the non believers

And Jeemie always calling me a nutter...... Any day of the week boy.

I still say incompetence rather than fix.

If that was called an int to begin with, I would have challenged with absolute certainty that it gets overturned.

Review in itself is bullshit, it allows them to make up shit as they go, whether it's on purpose or not.
