Mikey T has a job for life. Sad but true.

What do you take away from a 30-9 home game embarrassing loss to Jax that leads you to believe we will win the division by default?

The team sucks dick

They barely beat Cleveland, lost to a shitty one dimensional Bears team and now got totally embarassed at home by the FUCKING Jaguars?

Obviously... The infestation of shit now evident in all aspects of player performance starts at the top. That this worthless piece of retarded shit isn't seen for the fraud that he is, is a testament to the IQ of the average fan. The guy is a fuckin used car or time share salesman masquerading as a football coach, and thanks to the retarded American football fan, be get's the security of a competent one. Motherfuck this piece of shit and motherfuck those who perpetuate the myth of his competency.

Haley will go first
Tomlin will blame him
And then either ...
Hopefully Tomlin will change and declare Haley the problem OR Tomlin. Will screw up th next OC with his weak ass approach

I honestly no longer believe Tomlin's philosophy is the problem. You can still be successful within those constraints.

Haley plays unimaginative cuckold ball. No other way to say it.

Sure, but you can deal me 2-7 and I can either play it badly, or horribly.

I agree that Haley is stale
I also agree with others that Ben played poorly today
However, IMO the Steele main issue is systemic and flows from the top
What we got today - execution aside is what Tomlin wants
It is a cheap and shallow approach to weekly scheme vs execution
It is actually handcuffing talent while preaching execution which seems to me contradictory and stupid. It is exacerbated further by a lacsadaisical approach to discipline on the field

There is no coaching going on. Zero, none. Mike Tomlin doesn’t coach during the week, or on sundays. He sits there and fucking stares.

Zeke, cross purposes. I was mostly alluding to the position that execution is everything, often trotted out in defense of our coaching staff.

I think it you take Haley out of the equation, a lot of those other "issues" go away. He's that bad.

Even Tomlin’s challenges are sloppy, like most things done by the team he leads.

The Steelers staff is the main Voice of that false story - execution is everything

Didn't think that was a bad challenge (without benefit of replay). Plenty of time for their offense. It was only costly because of a "fluke" TO by Shazier that gave you a second chance.

So I'm not firing anybody until we go 8-8 and don't make the playoffs. And the Rooney's who actually make these decisions are notoriously patient.

But do people here have mixed feelings about wins and losses because on the one hand you are Steelers fans and you want the team to Win, but when the team loses it allows people to work on their other passion, which is Fire Tomlin, Fire Haley.

We're 5 games in and the offense has grossly underperformed expectations. And Haley has never exactly been considered to "add value".

Regardless of what you think about Ben, he's still better than at least 2/3 of the QB's in this league. Yet, other teams are getting it done with lesser QB's, and lesser talent around those QB's.

You can't change your players tomorrow, but you CAN change the guy running the ship.

One more loss like this one, and I'll start to despise Haley like I used to also.

But I also know that replacing coaches can sometimes make things better and sometimes not, either way it takes time. I've pretty much resigned to the fact that this our last run with Ben and we have to get our shit together with this group of coaches and players.

To their credit they have shown the ability to Regroup and Play well in the second half of the season, in the past. Will that happen this year? It could go either way.

I remember games - rare, to be sure, but I'm making a point - where Ben completed like 80% of his passes to guys mostly with no one within 3 yards. I have seen very, very few of such plays this year. A ridiculous amount of his passes this year have been highly contested in tight coverage. Unless the all-22 says otherwise, I simply don't assume a 14-yr future HOFer is suddenly making awful decisions, repeatedly.

The only guys who make those throws consistently are Ben and Rodgers, each for a period of about 2-3 years in their entire careers.

Rodgers today did it without 87 and NO running game and missing 2 impact members of his OL.
