I am unsure if the Steeler Nation appreciates how truly amazing AB is?

He is walking HOFer. I've never seen a WR with his level of concentration.

That was just unbelievable and what a game saver.

Said it in the game thread...he totally bailed EVERYBODY out. Poor playcall, poor throw all erased by a superhuman effort

Unfortunately, the entire team seems to think some one is going to pull the same shit out of their ass every game. They are a bit full of themselves.

Didn't Terry Bradshaw predict some weirdly specific play about a ball bouncing into ABs hands for a 42 yard TD or some bullshit during pregame?

As that play unfolded my wife had quietly entered our bedroom when I exploded into loud howling and clapping. She about had a heart attack.

Agreed. For all the me first shit out there on AB he has distinguished himself as an elite WR deserving of HOF honors especially as a 6th RND pick. Glad he's on our team.

Well, let's be fair....many other guys of varying pedigrees have made that catch. He caught a deflected ball - not exactly a unicorn.
And he did AB things with the RAC (although it was pretty much just a sprint for the EZ).

Great play. Great player. He had a lot to atone for today.

Totally crap analysis. He caught ball with one hand, maintained balance and scored TD. Very few if any players in NFL make that play. Come on now.

If you've ever watched AB practice.

He routinely will catch 20 in a row One-handed on the ball machine.

Also holds the world record for one handed catches.

To AB one-handed catches are routine.

I was mad as fuck at the play formation. livid when threw it.. blew a gasket when I saw where it was going and being caught by chief...relieved as fuck when brown caught it .. crazy...we played good enough to lose this game..but a win in the books is sweet

The pure coincidence of the ball almost intercepted, deflected, and falling at exactly the right place where AB could either A, catch the ball and fall down. B, catch the ball and get tackled, or C miss the ball entirely, and D, catch the ball and run for a TD is amazing.

More than a few players make that catch. The RAC actually was pretty much a sprint. It's a great play, but hardly anything shocking or otherworldly.

It's not just that Brown made the catch one-handed.

It's that he pulled it into his body lightning quick to prevent it from being broken up by the safety.

Watch the replay...that was the best part of the entire catch.

I totally disagree and the reason why is what separates AB from everyone at WR apart from a healthy Julio Jones: concentration & focus. AB routinely makes catches in tightest of circumstances because he has a concentration level no other WR comes close to. The ability to make a play look easy doesn't mean it is. AB makes it look easy. He does it because he anticipates and focuses well past the point most WRs starting lolly gagging.

You literally see that catch a couple times a week EVERY week in the NFL. He just happened to come up clean and had a clear sprint to the EZ.

It truly isn't that special of a play, just a gameball to AB.

This doesn't remotely belong in the conversation with the one-handed grab OBJ made a few years ago.

It had a lot of luck involved, but ...
He watched the ball and the defender all at once
Stepped away from the defender and reached out snagged and pulled the ball in lightning quick
It was great vision and concentration. And awareness.
