Only if the NFL allows us to win.

We won today. The NFL script said no.

Fuck this crap.

The team did what few people thought was possible. I agree, the officials screwed us. How could they not call DPI on the Bryant TD? I hated the final offensive play, but it should have earned a DPI. Whatever NFL

It really has nothing to do with AB, but whether the NFL wants NE to win another SB or not.

Unless they are setting up the biggest Disney feel good movie of the year, We will be home for the SB. I would love for the opposite but they need to get the killer instinct to finish teams off. The foolishness of battle of attrition and crap is ridiculously asinine when you have an explosive offense. This is the equivalent of replacing the Ferrari engine w/ a Pacer engine.

hahahhahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha....

don't even bother watching that game

Pats just beat us when EVERYTHING was lined up in our favor

NO FUCKING WAY do they lose to us at NE on bye rest

Season is OVER -- get used to it now

Um...unless you think we can't beat four win Houston and zero win Cleveland...we will have bye rest too.

bye rest for us means nothing

We had the Pats coming off a short week, on the road 2 weeks in a row, with a beaten up roster.

By the time we meet them again (big IF), they will be well rested, at home, and fully loaded. Kiss the season goodbye

One could argue that nothing would bring more money to the NFL and jersey sales than watching Shazier cheer on his team from the sideline and hoist the Lombardi after the game...

Vegas giving Steelers 2.5 had a say too.

The script is not yet complete yet. We shall see what the writers have in store for this reality show.

It doesn't matter.

We lost AB and didn't skip a beat. We still had the NFL overturn an obvious TD to steal a win from us.

Tom Brady is an NFL darling, and PIT is a comparatively small market team. No rational, objective person could watch that game tonight and think the NFL doesn't manipulate games to desired outcomes.

Steel, we should beat both Houston and Cleveland, making us the number two seed.

Therefore we will not play New England until the AFCCG.

Therefore we will have each played a game the week before.

And if we can't beat Houston and Cleveland, we don't deserve a bye.

Even then, if we didn't, we would be the three seed, so if we win our WCG game, we STILL wouldn't play New England until the AFCCG.

Did the NFL order Mike Tomlin to call off the dogs instead of try for a two score lead late?

WE got ourselves into the mess that allowed the officials to make the call that fucked us.

I believe the pass catch rule is stupid and allows the NFL to manipulate the game, but all James has to do is hold on to the ball.

He didn't. NFL can't fuck is of James holds onto the ball.

I thought they fixed that rule after the dez Bryant no catch call which was also a stupid call to this very day. That was a TD and so was James. Both those guys caught the ball and then tried to score, so to me that's like 2 separate thought processes/plays...why does the nfl insist that these are 1 long play that doesn't end until they see or don't see a wobble. I don't get it.

I don't get it either but it's the way it is.

Poor Jesse. Two big plays against New England...one in the AFCCG...one now.

Both times, he fucks the play up.

I had not a single issue with any decisions Tomlin made today.

If the NFL is going to fuck you, there is simply nothing a coach can do. The fix was in. It's simply not fair to judge or criticize a coach against an obvious agenda.

Sure there is.

He could have not turtled once he got an eight point lead...actually, from after Brown went out.

Steelers had the game won if James holds onto the ball...simple as that.

He does that...refs can't take the game away from us.

JJ caught that ball and everyone knows it.

NFL needs to be investigated for racketeering. Seriously.

Two of our best D players out, their headhunting TE gets a 1 game suspension instead of at least the two or more it should have been and we lose our MVP candidate in the 1st quarter. Hard to say "EVERYTHING was lined up in our favor".

I'm not saying it was perfect for the Pats either but it's pretty obvious we had some obstacles to overcome. Didn't quite get there and while I am extremely depressed, I am not giving up hope just yet.

"Bill, pick up. it's Mr Kraft." "Bill, just spoke to Roger, we're losing Gronk for Miami,. Should have been longer. Miami's going to be a loss, we'll be okay in Pittsburgh.

Sunday brought a bad result for the Steelers.
But in the aftermath of their 27-24 loss to the Patriots, there was some good news regarding wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Not only did he not need emergency surgery for compartment syndrome, he appears to have the good (better) kind of partial calf muscle tear.
Calf muscle strains and partial tears are known to linger, especially in explosive athletes like Brown.

If this were a partial tear from elongation suffered while changing directions or pushing off, it could easily affect Brown for the next 4-6 weeks, which would leave him at less than 100 percent for the playoffs.
By video, though, this partial muscle tear was from a direct blow and thus will have less separation of muscle fibers and a potentially quicker return.
Yes, he will likely still miss the final two games of the regular season, but this gives him a good chance to be effective for the playoffs — and potentially 100 percent for a possible rematch with the Patriots.

Best news of the morning Greek.
Looked to me at first...that the leg bent on impact.
Thought it was broken.

This seems like a pretty deep contusion / tear?
Ice, rehab, oxygen chamber.

This kid will work like nobody else to get back on the field.
