Oh wow...he blended in. I completely missed him.

Never mind on my whole thread, then.

That was a blatant hold, throughout the entire play.

I've seen a lot of teams get called for less obvious holds.

Where is the back judge? Rogers is the only WR running a route. Should be easy to officiate that play.

I just re-watched on a bigger screen.

Bryant did that to gronk and was called.

Bogus. If they call one, call the other.

That's two missed calls inside of 50 seconds.

There was not a single judgement cal against the Pats. Nada. At Heinz. Utter bullshit. Pats were helped lightly on their last two SB wins with curious blown calls.

Ding, ding, ding! I yelled it out when it happened live. The back judge was 18 feet away and had a perfect (unobstructed) view of Rowe (#25) pulling (with his right hand) the back of Eli's jersey 12 inches from his body (slowing his forward momentum and turning him a bit) all the while slingshot-ing his own body forward enough to get his left hand on the pass that ended in an interception. Eli was screaming/waving for the call while he was going to the ground as the play continued.

THAT REF COMPLETLY SWALLOWED HIS WISTLE ON THAT PLAY. F'ING CHOKED ON IT HE HAD TO SWALLOW IT SO HARD! THIS REF TEAM WAS MADE EVRY AWARE OF THEIR FLAG HAPPY REP, SO THEY CHOSE TO DO THE OPPOSITE (AT LEAST FOR THE PATS) BEFORE THE GAME.

Pats penalties:

2 for 5 yards. Both were automatic calls.

The idea that there wasn't a single instance of holding, DPI, or whatnot committed throughout the game is nigh absurd.

The only really egregious non- all against the Patriots I saw was on Burkhead’s TD. One of our guys was held in the exact same fashion as AV’s hold later in the game.

But since not every play is replayed...who knows?
