Davis was abused most of the day.

Davis is not football bright. How did he not know, the fade to Gronk was coming on the two point play?!

incorrect...for the most part Davis made Gronk earn what he got...doesn't matter if Davis knew the play just like a lot of times doesn't matter if you double or triple cover AB. Great players make plays. Gronk does that to everyone not just Davis. Now if you want to argue why Davis is tasked to cover Gronk on his own that's a different matter

Davis looked like a middle school football player, trying to Gronky Kong.

If that's the best Davis can do, the Steelers are in trouble moving forward.

I’m thinking Joe Haden on Gronkowski. The outside corners in that game held up well enough. Haden’s a better cover guy with long arms. I’d give him a shot at Gronk over Davis.

I actually disagree. We had one guy to stop and we did anything but try to stop him. Not only was he way too big and physical for Davis, he was actually running RIGHT BY him the entire second half. That was statistically his biggest game of the year, not shocking. Davis not only looked like a little midget covering him, he needed help over the top in the worst way.

If Haden is back and healthy I put Sutton on Gronk similar to what they did with Cortez years back.

Should definitely have a special package for Gronk. Maybe have Dupree and/or Harrison rushing, and TJ spying Gronk.

Maybe cause some confusion occasionally giving Haden the task. The other guys do their job, and you mask how you're covering Gronk...might give the pass rush an extra second to get home.

What really worked in Allen’s favor was his arm length, I don’t think Sutton is long enough or is he?

I hate to say it but I don’t think there is one guy on our roster that can cover him alone in the open field.

Davis’ effort on that two point try was embarrassing at best.

I've always liked the idea of Haden on him. But, last night, I wished they would've put Hilton on him all game. I know it sounds crazy, but to me, Hilton has proven he has the ball skills, awareness, speed, hops and most importantly, the clutch-ness to knock the ball out of Gronks hands at the exact moment he's trying to catch it. That's the best way to stop him (more often than not) from coming down with it, imo.

i say put Deebo up in his face at the line and let him hit him everytime before he continues on his way where Davis, Hilton, or Haden is waiting for him. Unfotunately, that takes a pass rusher out of the equation. TJ Watt or Dupree might be the best option, but I see dupree as too much of a pussy to really get physical with Gronk,so looks like Watt. You need someone to punch him in the throat a few times to get him off his game a bit.

I don't think we have any lb'ers that can cover him. Wish someone on our coaching staff were competent enough to coach db's... Davis should be able to handle him.
