This game was lost because of a mentality that thought it was a good idea to hand the ball off to Fitzgerald Touissaint on 2nd and 23.

He was spot on, Beth.

The difference between merely good and great...the difference between great and GOAT.

We’ve been saying here what he said...but because he’s a Pats’ fan, we have to automatically hate him.

He’s right...had the role been reversed, Brady, Belichick, and McDermott would have been in conference.

Not doing this.

He's a douche. Fuck him sideways with a pineapple. Ernie Adams is the GOAT, not the little pussy Brady.

You folks should turn in your black n gold stuff and switch sides

The envy is overwhelming

I don’t disagree with the mistakes made by Ben and coaches

But patronizing their fans and their hubris makes you all just a little bit sad

I think we should send it to Mike Tomlin and Ben.

They SHOULD hear the hubris of Patriots fans.

Maybe they'd finally learn what they need to do to beat them.

It's not envy nor patronizing...it's keeping it real.

Fuck them!
They gave up 79 yards in 2 plays!
Where was the great coaching when they failed to push Juju out of bounds?
Where was the great coaching when Jesse James was WIDE open?
During the review Belicheat was lost!
Said after the game he didn’t know what the review was for.
If he was so smart he would have been going crazy on the refs.

I’ll send you some board and rope for Christmas so you can swing from there nuts!

Wahlburg laid it out perfectly and succinctly. We were unlucky, we werenot prepared, we reacted like amateurs and got, to a degree, what we deserved AND It not's over not by a long shot. You think cause we have home field we waltz into the SB??? Lots of football left and the real champ will rise to the occasion.

Steelers Got monumentally screwed!!!

Should have been more prepared for extra plays....yes

The gravity of the screwjob and by whom

Pats/refs/nfl vs Steelers

Yes Ben and Tomlin should view it

I’ll never give them credit they deserve because too much of their success was assisted by illegal means

Ben has done great things for this franchise and because of that gets quite a lot of leeway.

But there is no excuse for some of the shit he’s done that has cost us games recently.

How the fuck can you not be talking about the next plays?

Reality is that Ben isn’t a heady QB and will have himself to blame for not getting another ring as much as he does anyone else.

He might have put a cap on his career this past Sunday in terms of SBs.

Hopefully this team can pull it together. Next year who knows how the season unfolds.

And Walberg was spot on...

Heck, Cowher basically said the same thing - I don't like the fact that Ben & the coaches were simply waiting around for a ruling but that doesn't make it any less accurate. I do however like what he said at the end - the season isn't over and if the Steelers really are the better team they can show it by winning regardless of whether it is against the Pats or someone else.

This play really bugged me. But hey “We play to win.”

Sure he is pompous.

He is dead on correct.

The three headed brain trust of this team is what fumbled and bumbled away any chance to win this game.

I look forward to the camera panning to the pompous ass Wahlberg as the Steelers celebrate in AFC Championship in their backyard

Actually now we hear the coaches were talking...about a possibility that had a remote chance of occurring...but it never occurred to them, seemingly, to ask their OWN GUY IN THE BOOTH what likely review outcomes were.

This extra possibility (marked down at the one with a 10 second runoff and clock winding) somehow prevented them from calling two plays in the huddle.

It may now explain a personnel grouping that didn’t include Martavis, though...because my guess is if they thought down on the one was a likely outcome, the play they were going to run was A running play by Bell.

when the review took so long I knew we were fucked..they shoulda known too..judging from the 2 plays called it looked like chaos. not a plan at all.. hard to believe any plan has dhb as the main focus and home field riding on rogers to beat 3 guys. I only posted the Walberg vid as even he sees us as fucked by refs. but often a great team gets it done on another chance. we blew it..he was spot on in his assessment..hes a pat homer ; but so would I if I'm from Beantown..

Who knows if the Steelers guy in the booth could even see a replay. There was probably some sort of "malfunction" at that point. :D
