Harrison probably threatened to kill Tomlin.

...or so I wish.

It’s actually fairly external. We’re in the middle of a winning streak and he’s going to the media bitching that he would’ve never re-signed with the Steelers if he could go back and do it over again.

I mean, the guy is a Steelers legend, and I hate for it to end like this, but we don’t need that shit. Dude needs some perspective.

Harrison is arguably my all-time favorite Steeler. I’m a bit bummed, but I don’t get the outrage. He’s played 40 snaps all year and obviously wasn’t a part of their plans. Shit happens.

The question is why? Especially after he saved the KC win. Why rot on the bench? To develop Bud Dupree?

Do you understand how message boards work?

Maybe before you wish death on someone for cutting a football player you'll consider that other people can see it.

Disgusting move. Dan McCullers should have been released. This goes back to James reaming out Tomlin after his sack to close out the one . Should have never came to this point. There's no reason James could not have been getting 15-20 snaps a game

Why should he be out there if he sucks?

43 curious how you know he currently sucks? Hes barely been used and the litttle bit of PT he has gotten hes looked like there could definitley still be something there.

A better question would be why is Mitchell out there since he sucks? Why is Landry fkn Jones on the roster because he sucks? Why is Coty Sensabaugh on the roster since he sucks?

He's played 40 snaps and has 1 sack and 3 tackles. He is producing at a rate not much better than Chickillo. He cannot play the pass. He doesn't play special teams.

If both guys suck, who is more valuable?[/quote]

So you dont have a good reason either, and i never mentioned Chickillo. I'll take Harrison and his load of intangibles and experience over McCullers or Sensabaugh Moats and a few others any day of the week and twice on Sun.

Per Harrison's agent it was a mutual move. They had to release someone and James wanted to go anyway so they cut him. No big deal.

Special Teams. Harrison doesn't play them, so it's hard to even dress him.

As bad as special teams has been, Moats hasn't been the answer there either.

Do you know how this message board works? Obviously not. You attacked the poster, not the post, hence the dipshit comment. I like iced coffee, thanks.

Who knows? He saved KC, yes, but maybe his liabilities would’ve cost us at other times. I have no idea.

I do know that they are 11-3 without him, more or less. So, other than sentimentality, I’m not gonna get overly worked up over it.

Guys, come to grips with the fact that this guy is done. When he has been on the field, he’s looked exactly like what he is...a 40 year old playing with and against 20 somethings...slow and out of place.
He’s barely played, been inactive a lot. Ask yourself why?
Sometimes you can take Father Time to OT, but he always wins.

I don’t understand Tomlin’s thinking on his approach to Harrison this year or really their entire defensive philosophy. You let Harrison rot so you can develop Bud Dupree yet you drop Dupree into coverage for the majority of his snaps when the guy was supposed to be the next Harrison.

I am with Scunge - I would like to see an overhaul on defense and a new D-Coordinator too.

I didn't see enough of Harrison to decide he sucks..believe he should of been in far more... seems pats game would of been useful..several games watt seemed to vanish in rushing situations; why no james? I don't get the bench rot and staff refuses to exsplain. not a good look for team at this time of year..wonder what the locker room chatter is..

Special teams unit has underperformed all year and sorry but you could have found another player to cut. But if something happens to either olb we screwed

Your comment was wishing death on an owner because the team cut a guy. There isn't much of a post to attack there.
