2015 AFC divisional was no AB/no Bell right?

And one-armed Ben.

On the other hand, I've seen Antonio Brown make an unbelievable play at the goal line to win in a last play of the game situation against a hated rival.

If he's on the field late against the Pats, perhaps that throw doesn't go to Jesse James........and, you know.

Ball's definitely going to AB on at least one of those passes.

That particular play, though...DHB was "Brown" and was the decoy receiver. If Brown is by himself there, maybe Ben just goes right to him- who knows?

Not only that, even the last play to Eli Rogers.

You don't think if a Pats DB has a fist full of AB's jersey, it isn't called? In Pittsburgh?

Of course it is.

The impact Brown has made this season has been silly.

Not sure he's more valuable to the Steelers than either Ben or Bell, but neither of those 2 guys were being touted as league wide MVP.

AB was.

Fair enough, but the play to JJ was there and a fairly routine one....I don't think that makes AB more valuable so much as it makes JJ less valuable.

I would have liked to see it go to Boswell. Outside of him, I'm not sure anyone other than AB, Bell and Ben were worthy. Heyward - should have gotten the nod especially after the Pro Bowl snub.

Now team rookie of the year is a tough call between JuJu and Watt, but I think I'd go with Watt.

They won some playoff games and were competitive in two playoff losses with a whole lot of JAGs and garbage at the skill positions. Hell, he won a freaking Super Bowl with utter dogshit on the OL.

I would say that game last night is just fine with no Bell and no AB. When Ben is dealing like that and the role players step up and catch the ball... it's plenty good. If the supporting cast had simply caught the ball and lowered a shoulder at the 6" line, the Steelers might actually have won the AFCCG in Foxboro last year.

That game was unreal. Came so close to winning, despite having everything going against us on the offensive side.

Not going to lie. It was a troll post. Ben is the MVP.

Imagine this season without Boswell and with Scobee. Boz was 35-38. 3 huge game winning kicks late in the season. He was the epitome of clutch. To me it Boswell, and it’s not close.

AB had an mvp season no doubt, but Ben is without a doubt the most irreplaceable Steeler on the team.

I mean look at the depth charts: AB MB JuJu Rogers etc vs Ben Laundry I mean it aint even close.

The fact that we are debating this, with 4 or 5 legit choices, is a good thing...right?

I think this is as big of a no brainer as possible.

In my own opinion, Gilbert or maybe Haden is the real MVP, given how the team performed in their absence, but honestly AB is probably the MVP of the league based on commonly accepted criteria.

See this is where MVP voting makes absolutely zero sense. If Ben goes down, season over.

Sorry, no arguing, no discussion, no debating. Ben is the MVP, each and every year.

But, I guess that would get boring and anticlimactic.

Right and that is the case with nearly any starting NFL QB.

Although, we have done well enough when Ben has been out for a couple games.

To me Gilbert is the MVP this year because of the offense with him, and the offense without him. It's why I think we have a real chance of #7 if he stays healthy and clean.
