Can we PLEASE kill two birds with one stone? I say we start the Haley to the Bengals rumor right here and now.

Haley out the door after the season and the Bengals maintain fighting the Browns and the Ravens for the bottom half of the division for the next forever.

To me; it would be a Steeler match made in heaven.

Marvin is saying tonight Mike Brown won’t fire him

Ahaahaaaaaaa. Happy new year

If you're serious, they did this a couple weeks ago

Must be the grog Steeler77 :lol:

Giants have already hired new gm and started cleaning house

I've just lost any/all passion I once had for the NFL anymore. I only participate here and by watching Steelers. Today I watched the red zone channel for the first time in weeks. Usually I can't be bothered with anything NFL outside Pittsburgh. Why I didn't know McaDoo was fired I guess. Or maybe I just don't give a fuck about anything else but Steelers. So yeah beth, I did drink my fair share of Brandy Eggnogs with the wifey today while preparing dinner. No excuses. I just don't like the NFL anymore.

People on this board would be calling for Tomlin's head if the roles were reversed.

True, and deservedly so.

Since I'm home nursing a hangover today might as well post some shit. :)

Quote:
@AdamSchefter
Bengals' DC Paul Guenther, whose contract is now up, is an enviable position: he is expected to be a leading candidate to become Jon Gruden's DC in Oakland or could be HC candidate in Cincinnati depending on how the Marvin Lewis situations unfolds, per league source. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status ... 0644597760
Quote:
@RapSheet
#Ravens long-time coordinator Dean Pees tells me he's informing his team this morning that he's going to retire, effectively March 1. One of the great defensive minds steps away, and Baltimore has a big void. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/947801720456806400
Quote:
According to breers and crapreport Matt Patricia, https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/947812234830450688 Mike Vrabel https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/ ... 7264734208 and Steve Wilks https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/947841836521017344 are all candidates for the Lions coaching vacancy.
Quote:
@RapSheet
Three candidates the #Colts are expected to interview: #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels, #Chiefs OC Matt Nagy, #Chiefs ST coach Dave Toub. There will be others, of course.https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/947808870474403841
Quote:
@AdamSchefter
Giants now have submitted requests to interview Patriots’ DC Matt Patricia and OC Josh McDaniels for their HC job, per source. This could be Patricia’s landing spot.https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status ... 9074393088
Quote:
Lewis' future has been made and both parties may wait until Tuesday to do so. Lewis' contract expires this month and he said on Sunday that a return for next season was more "complicated" than just being asked to return by Brown. With the indecision, Bengals assistants remain in limbo. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports ... new-cookie

Interesting Patricia and McCheatals into the Giants search, it's rumored it will be Belichick

I think Haley gets an interview at Arizona. Once McDaniels gets hired or stays it will all shake out.

Bruce would be the perfect OC now that we have a line.

He's a one-trick guy but it's a hell of a trick when you have the talent.

Bears are setting up an interview with Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo for later this week, sources tell me and @RapSheet. His work with Carson Wentz has made him a legit candidate. https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/status ... 4270956545

Total shame haley isn't getting Any requests. I fear either the Steelers or re:Todd himself have made it clear he is off the market.

Steelers Head Coaches since 1969
Chuck Noll
Bill Cowher
Mike Tomlin

Raiders Head Coaches since 1969
John Madden
Tom Flores
Mike Shanahan
Art Shell
Mike White
Jon Bugel
John Gruden
Bill Callahan
Norv Turner
Art Shell
Lane Kiffin
Tom Cable
Hugh Jackson
Dennis Allen
Tony Sparano
Jack Del Rio
John Gruden?

Steelers had 3 Coaches. The Raiders had 17 Head Coaches, in addition to Changing Cities multiple times. Imagine how much it would suck to be a Raiders fan.

If they look at anyone I rather they interview Kevin Greene. Not as DC but as Position Coach. Wish they'd look at another DB's coach/assistant as well. Fresh eyes at both positions could result in serious improvement.
