When draft time comes I expect they come off the board in this order

My Wr rankings

Mike Williams
John Ross
Corey Davis
Chris Godwin
Zay Jones
ArDarius Stewart
JUJU
Cooper Kupp
Curtis Samuel

2 players I think may have stellar NFL careers

Mack Hollins
Bug Howard

Trubisky had talented weapons at UNC...I really like both Wr's...Both are SO SO SO under rated

The third UNC WR might be the best-- Switzer has no size, but he can really do it all.

+1

Couldn't agree more.

I really am starting to obsess over the idea of drafting Chris Godwin. Cris Carter a good comparison FC for how this kid works the sideline. Seeing USC AD, Lynn Swann while watching Godwin dominate his Trojan secondary kind of reminded me of his type of big game talent as well.

It's just not worth a 2nd for a WR who isn't some kind of a huge mismatch-- it doesn't fit with our offensive philosophy at all. We have survived for a while now on hitting it big with value buy WRs-- probably it would have more impact to draft a mismatch TE in that slot.

I watched every game of Allen Robinsons career and couldn't understand how he wasn't a lock top 20 pick. Every game of Godwins career I've said its Allen Robinson al over again. Great ball skills and body control, above average size and speed, very polished receiver. Robinson is now in my estimation a Top 10 NFL WR. I think Godwin is not quite that good but he'll be Top 30 or so in a few years.

Switzer from UNC is the truth. Top 10 WR in this class and worthy of a 3rd round pick. Yes he's small, but he gets separation, catches the football, and makes things happen once the ball is in his hands. I think he can be better than Edleman. Carlos Hendrson is another guy that makes people miss in the open field when he has the ball and can run himself open. He's got Antonio Brown type traits.

Well, I really like these players-- not all my favorites, but that would be a solid draft. If they take Watt in the first round-- could it be as an ILB? He said that at least one team asked him if he'd be into that switch, and I think it has the possibility of being a good thing.

A birdie told me Shazier as the OLB in nickel is a thing that might be coming in 2017. If you draft a guy like Watt or Hasson, could have a similar role.

Frankly, I think we're missing a pure speed rusher in the rotation. let Dupree and Deebo bang on guys for a while, then bring in a blur like my guy Pita Taumoepenu as a change up. We just don't have that tool in our arsenal.

As for safety, we need a hybrid guy who can cover-- think Sean Davis but with better click and close in zone/vs run or better man coverage or, preferably, both.

Just wondering about your Shazier comment. Could that move be a potential switch to a 4-3 base with Shazier as an OLB?

They still don't have the edge players to make that work-- and, here's a clue: I haven't seen the Steelers connected to any of the 4-3 edge types, only the 3-4 guys. Colbert even talked about how they mainly look at whether edge guys can drop in coverage. That doesn't sound like a team that is switching to a 4-3 look, unless they are sandbagging.

Switzer will be a nice fit in New Orleans LA Rams or New England

Switzer is a niche receiver...80% of his routes come within 12 yards of the LOS.

He is very similar to Andrew Hawkins.

5-7 almost 5-8 short arms small hands struggles to adjust to the ball not very fast .. He is very quick

As a punt returner/ return specialist I like him...I am not a fan as a receiver

A little birdie told me dont be shocked when the Steelers draft Tyrus Bowser in round 1...We shall see :o

That would be a shot over NE's bow-- he can cover and rush for real... useful against NE's quick game and even TEs.

If your double-dip was a pure pass rusher like Taumoepenu or someone dynamic like that, it would make this OLB group a whole lot better in a hurry.
