yes..need to get on him early. at least work the counts deep if possible.. get his pitch count up. definitely need a lead in 9th. no doubt chapman is ready. hopefully last nites crazy win gets the bucs some confidence built. loved the throw from right from polonco..and the 2 big shots by cutch.. and the late bull pen heroics were unreal..

How's Andy Oliver doing, Sham?

Last I looked, his numbers at Indy looked quite good.

Can't we bring him up and dump Frieri?

And the Justin Wilson of last night started to channel the Justin Wilson of 2013. He keeps that up- he can become a closer candidate again. He got stronger as that 10th inning went on.

Yeah- just found his stats- 27 walks in 46 IP is a little high, but WHIP is only 1.11.

I'd take a risk on him. I think Frieri is shot.

Unless there's someone better down at AAA?

You mean like Vin Mazzaro? Mazzro has a 1.91 ERA at Indy. He had a 2.82 ERA in 73.2 innings with the Pirates last season. That is not a small amount of work. It is ludicrous he isn't on this team while Frieri is setting games on fire and Stolmy Pimentel is wasting a roster spot.
