3PM start on NBC.

Wings beat the Capitols last night in a SO. Hopefully that comes into play and helps out the Birdies.

No Schultz again so everything will be a bit out of whack again.

Penguins projected lineup

Chris Kunitz -- Sidney Crosby -- Jake Guentzel

Carl Hagelin -- Evgeni Malkin -- Patric Hornqvist

Scott Wilson -- Nick Bonino -- Phil Kessel

Tom Kuhnhackl -- Matt Cullen -- Eric Fehr

Brian Dumoulin -- Kris Letang

Ian Cole -- Chad Ruhwedel

Steve Oleksy -- Trevor Daley

Matt Murray

Marc-Andre Fleury

Scratched: Carter Rowney

Injured: Conor Sheary (upper body), Bryan Rust (upper body), Justin Schultz (concussion), Olli Maatta (hand)

Mrazek with some magical shit going on right now.

After his TO that lead to another breakdown which in turn became Detroit's first goal Malkin has been on fire. Easily could have multiple assists or goals but for the opponents goaltender.
Thankfully we got a TV timeout between PP's.

We looked like a team that had played 3 out of 4, with a short day off after the back to back. Shitty ice does not help.

Not a good game. Agreed on looking tired, they also played 4 in 6 nights. Add an afternoon start (vs a normal 7pm start) and you've got a recipe for a terrible game.

Letang can't run the fucking PP - let Kessel run it from the top of the circle. Hope that Schultz gets back soon to fix it

No kidding about Letang and the PP. Love the player but he was awful yesterday.

The Pens had so many more chances to score on the PK then the PP yesterday.

As lethargic as they looked, you have to admit the wings goalie made some nice plays. Two shots defended would have tied the game up before the empty netter. And murray committed to much on the first goal.

I thought the second goal Murray gave up was worse. The first one you might be able to credit for having no tape on Jensen who has only played a handful of NHL games. It was a sweet move though.

IMO the Pens took Detroit lightly and paid for that. You could see Sully's face when they fell behind 4-1-looked like he wanted to yank the whole team off the ice and take them for a swim in the Mon.

I didn't like the 1st or 4th goal Murray gave up yesterday. But I'm not gonna harp on it too much...Pens got bitched most of that game as it was
