Shame to see such a good guy get ripped from the city he seems to love so much...but such is the life of a pro athlete.

Class act all the way.

I have been very hard on MAF the player these past 5 years or so. If he doesn't get hurt in last year's playoffs and Matt Murray doesn't get the opportunity, I don't think the Pens win either of these two back-to-back cups. That said, his performance in game 7 of the Caps series this year was tremendous. He deserves his name on that cup as much as anyone.

Good luck to him, and I hope he finds success and happiness in Vegas... historically not an easy thing to do 8-)

I remember that first game Fleury played in as a Penguin.

I kept thinking no one can be this athletic in goal-it is impossible. He was more than a revelation he was the starting block in what would become a three time Stanley cup championship squad.
So many Pens fans think this ride started with Crosby, but it didn't. First came Fleury followed by Malkin, then Crosby and Letang.
It was Fleury(along with the big hands of Mario) who blazed the way for us to cheer this remarkable decade that has just passed us.

Thank you Marc-Andre Fleury for everything you did for Pittsburgh. Some day down the road I hope you get to scratch your name on the cup a fourth time(not at the Pens expense).
