Right now these guys a pretty much conditioned to be one inning guys now. Not physically, but mentally. The only guys going multiple innings are the long/middle men. Watson and Wilson used to be guys that went more than 3 outs last year, but not now. I don't know why Hurdle did it this way this year. Probably has to do with Wilson's struggles and Watson settling in as the primary set up man. I don't like it at all though. I thought he had way more flexibility last year with a pen full of multi-inning relievers.

I agree with u..seems like they very limited and get in trouble with this method of madness..

With all the reliance they have on statistics & math, there's probably some "Hidden Vigorish" in it somewhere that's not intuitively obvious.
