Chattel slaves dying by the thousands. In 2015. And these FIFA dickheads are acting like they are the victims.

I hope they go after the IOC next.

Amazing that the worker death rate in Qatar isn't getting a ton of international outcry. By that country's own estimate they are on pace for 5000 worker deaths (and they are likely under-reporting). By comparison, only 11 people died in the construction of the Golden Gate bridge. In the 1930's.

I officiate an international style sport and you would be amazed at some of the corruption stories, mainly on overseas officials and accusations about our international governing body. And this is for a sport that nobody really gives a shit about. I can't image how widespread it is in soccer (FIFA). The amount of money that sport generates is sick. A lot of countries operate on bribes and it is commonplace to do that to get what you want.

Blatter resigns a few days after his pompous arrogant reelection speech...

Having his top aid tied directly to making pay-offs to other FIFA officials was a good push for him. And it was only a matter of time before someone flipped on him.

This thing with Qatar is one of the most sickening stories in sports in my lifetime...they should be cut off immediately...Australia lost a bid to these creeps? This is like something out of ancient Egyptian cruelty toward the Nubians.
