Who clearly passed gender studies but failed geometry.

For men to hit the fairway just as often they'd have to be more accurate given that a narrower angle range is required.

Fuck this feel good pussywhipped shit over objectivity already.

By the way, two days ago the Australian women's soccer team lost to a U-15 boy's side by a score of 7-0.

Article overlooks most pertinent fact regarding any measure of driving the golf ball LPGA vs PGA. There isn't a single forced carry on a par 4 or 5 on the entire LPGA tour. Based on that alone no comparison can be made on their driver stats......

Is that true? On a stadium course, there kind of has to be, right? Unless it's just 150 yards from the tee.

Yep. When Lydia Ko started on tour she hit 200 yard rope hooks with a driver with 30 yards or ground draw. She played a hybrid ( which she could work both ways high or low) from 130 to 180 yds. She has since gotten stronger but you get the point. Any real forced carry and she would not have been able to finish the holes. This info is from a conversation with tour caddie.

It's part of the reason that Lexi and Michelle don't gain any real advantage with their length. I played with Lexi, she can flat out move it. But they aren't as good from 80 yds in, and some of the top players on that tour can't hit it out of their shadow but can get up and down from out of a garbage can.....

Too bad there aren't some "tweener" courses on LPGA that would reward the Michelle Wies and not just the glorified pitch and putters. Which is kind of the direction men's went twenty years ago.

Then again, with the LPGA, it might not matter what they do.

LPGA is fools gold unless you are top 40 in earnings or wealthy before you started.....

Michelle Wie can thank her parents for their understanding of the above.

Even if it's true, who cares? Anytime a woman tried to play in the men's PGA it hasn't gone well has it? Annika Sorenstam and Michelle Wie tried it, I don't think they ever made a cut, did they?

I'm pretty sure it was Colonial that Annika played in when she was far and away the best player in the world. It was a short track by PGA standards (right at 7 thousand yards) and she missed cut by 4.

Michelle played basically her home course at Sony. Don't actually remember what happened, missed or made cut by 1?

No one on the LPGA tour would break 90 at Oakmont today. And I'm certainly not discrediting them, they are great players, but PGA is totally different game
