I like the player...I think he would be a nice fit. Not a great blocker. Solid in the passing game

Does he play OT at all?

Nice catch Greek, but I seriously doubt the Steelers even notice. I'd bring him in for a look.

Sorry. Conflicting results I'm finding. Sucks to do this on a phone, too.

I'm on record as having been a fan of Egnew in the draft process. His time in Miami has proven me wrong. I wouldn't consider him at all if our 3rd TE situation wasn't so hideous.

He seems to be a head case, very soft mentally and on the field. Better athlete than football player.

He was part of the main feature last season on "Hard Knocks"

Every coach was pissed about his work ethic and desire to play football.

From the episode, he was supposed to be a big part of their offense and they really wanted to the guy to succeed.

They must of had enough of his passive attitude, I don't know if that's the type of guy the Steelers need right now

He'd fit right in...

Claimed by the Lions

#Lions weren't the only team interested in Egnew, a former 3rd-round pick. #Seahawks put in a claim, too. Detroit had priority (obviously).

6 TE's on their current roster with the addition of Egnew. Ebron, Fauria, Maxwell, Pettigrew, Thompson and now Egnew. Hmmm....

I didn't realize Bruce Arians coached the Lions.

Isn't the over abundance of TEs a Haley thing?
