I don't think even HE is stupid enough to try to pull that one off!

His job is primarily to put money into the pockets of the bosses. BSPN NFL Network talking heads will comply by opinion or silence. NFL cameras will not show the kneelers.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Other than that the product does suck in so many ways. BTW, which game did they have no pbp and color guy? That was pure heaven.

Let's contrast CK with Jose Fernandez:

Fernández said he will never forget the day he boarded a boat for his fourth attempt in 2008 to flee Cuba. He and his family were determined to leave at all cost to reunite with Jiménez, who had left in 2005 after making 14 attempts.
During that journey something happened that left a mark on Fernández for the rest of his life.

After escaping flying bullets from Cuban coast guard boats, and later in the solitude of the ocean on their way to Mexico, somebody said that a person had fallen in the water. Fernández did not hesitate and jumped in. When he finally had the fallen person in his arms he was shocked to realize that he had just saved his own mother, Maritza.

So CK and all the ESPN ingrate fanboys and Roger the Clown can suck my taint.

I support the theory that intervention during play and the mores of the times have reduced the competitive sports element. Remember the joy you had as a kid playing a game? That joy stayed with kids as the gifted ones turned pro. Old schoolers said they couldn't believe they were getting paid to do what they loved. Ego has superceded team, money has superceded joy. Our trophy case, symbolic towel and stability gives us a huge edge on teams like the Browns. Our players have a better chance of connecting to those diappearing qualities and that's the strongest argument for keeping semi impaired Tomlin around.

Ratings down 4th week in a row. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for the meetings at HQ.

Wonder how much is due to the Anthem and how much is due to cables being unplugged. You could compare the decline to the general decline in cable viewing as an approximate way to apportion.
