Will this guy ever learn?

It's even away from the play. Not even the intended receiver.

He went after a Patriot player that has been balling the last two weeks. This is his MO. Target the hot player and take him out. By all means necessary. This is gangster logic.

I'd suspend him for an entire year.

He's also being reviewed for stomping on the back of Blount's leg after a play.

Yeah, I don't get how a guy who's already been suspended 3 games for this type of crap only gets fined when he does it again.

If they were borderline things where maybe he just got his head a little too high on a bang-bang play or something, then yeah, I'd get it. But these are pretty blatant cheap shots worthy of at least 6 games, considering he's already been suspended for them.

But hey, spin the NFL Wheel of Justice!

After watching the play in it's entirety. Brady made a hard pump fake to Bennett. Pacman and Burfict both broke towards him. Pacman kinda bumped him. Burfict went low and hit his knee. It's hard to tell if he stumbled a little when he realized it was a pump fake by Brady, but either way, I have NO doubt he could have pulled up and avoided the knee. He just can't help himself. He figured fuck it, while I'm here I might as well take a shot at him.

This is about as good a video as I can get of the stomping. Hard to see anything definitive. I "think" I can make out his foot going down on Blount's calf in between all the other traffic (watch between #59's legs as he takes a step to stride to the right), but hard to say for sure.

This is a symptom of why ratings are tumbling but it's not the disease.

Amazing they didn't suspend him again, such hypocracy.......but it is NE and perhaps Goodell is giving them another middle finger

Quote:
Bengals WLB Vontaze Burfict was fined $75,000 for stomping on LeGarrette Blount's leg following a fourth-quarter touchdown in Week 6.
Some were expecting Burfict to be hit with another suspension, and possibly a lengthy one after he was slapped with a three-game ban to start the year following last season's on-field incidents. Burfict is actually quite lucky he didn't get another ban, even if the $75K fine is pretty steep for a player.

Nothing about the hit to Bennett's knee.... hmmm

what are the odds he'll do something else to get suspended before the season is over?
