It looks like Gronkowski is out until at least late playoffs:

This guy is hurt more than Ryan Shazier, LeVeon Bell, and Chris Fuamatta Mauafala combined. The king of China dolls.
I'm sure he'll be dancing and partying it up a day after his surgery!

clearly having a weapon like Gronk out will derail the Pats and provide Hoodie a built in excuse for the lost season....

This will be his 3rd back surgery for herniated disks. He is going to be suffering when he gets older.

Didn't think of that! First A.J. Green, now Gronk.

Knock on wood gents, because this has happened to us in the past with Bell.

Never root for injuries, karma is a bitch.

With that being said, the Patriots without Gronk are a completely different team. Martellus Bennett is a little bitch when it comes to blocking in the run game. This limits what the Patriots can do vertically in the passing game. Their best deep threat now is rookie WR Mike Mitchell. He's talented, but he's a rookie. Be interesting to see what happens if we get to the playoffs and face them. Remember, they also won't have Jamie Collins the next time around either.

Just remember that no team in the AFC really is that dominant....there's a window if we start to pull this thing together.
