I guess your response implies that some people have weaker ligaments than others?

I mean, I don't know what player's knee wouldn't get fucked up from the DeCastro submarining of Pouncey's knee.
One of Shazier's first injuries was because a defensive player knocked an o lineman into his knee sideways while he was looking at the other side of the pile of bodies. After the whistle, and it took four games for him to get back to the starting lineup, if I remember right.

People love to deny the randomness of the universe. You don't have nearly as much control over your life as you think. Football is no different.

I think STD is a riot. I enjoy the creativity. Makes me laugh.

And his Haley trying to score less than 30 points a game idea took some heat but it actually goes along with what many have been saying... just in a very funny way. FOS

I'm not implying it, I'm stating it as a fact. Some people have tighter/less elastic ligaments than others. Some have shorter ligaments than others. Same with bones and joints. This makes them more likely to get injured, all else equal.

I remember Timmons after being drafted couldn't stay healthy in camp, had a tough time getting on the field. The second round pick that year did stay on the field during camp, prompting many to essentially label Timmons at that time a tubmonster.

Timmons I believe went on to start 101 consecutive games. The other guy, not so much.

Actually it happens nearly every play: RB falling on the back on an Olineman's legs. Or a WR engaged in a block downfield and he gets rolled up from behind
