I think the Lions fans are right to be pissed but for the wrong reason.

Tate's knee was down before the ball crossed.

The problem was at that moment the clock was at :11 not :08. That would have given the Lions one more play.

I was there...Lions fans lost their shit.

Strange game all around, a lot of penalty aided drives. Ryan with 3 picks, and 2 of them were clearly on his WRs.

You're right, clock was at :11 when he was down. Ten second run-off would have left a second on the clock. Caldwell said they practice the :01 play every week. Tough loss.
