It was a bad move on his part for sure, real surprised ref had the stones to throw the flag, usually they let that go.

Jesus Christ I'm so over Aaron Rodgers. He throws a pretty ball while not under pressure, & throws rainbows missed by a unicorn. I firmly believe the only reason he has numbers against the Steelers was the Capers-LeBeau connection.

That motherfucker has donejack & shit since.

This couldn't be more wrong. Are you being sarcastic?

2011 45td 6int 122.5 rating

2012 39td 8int 108 rat

2013 17td 6in 104.9

2014 38td 5 int 112.2

2015 31td 8int 92.7

2016 40td 7int 104.2

2017 13td 3int 103.2

and before someone says "he's only won one superbowl" take a look at the teams that have been around him. Week o lines and defenses, along with so so receivers and no name RBs.

As long as he can play at Lambeau, he’s the GOAT. He’s a mediocre QB on the road; especially in tight games.

Packers have actually had some really good teams around him at times since 2010.

I saw that too.

Didn't really cared who won the game but it appeared he was claiming he ran out there to call the time out. He appeared agitated as the commentators mentioned because the refs were all focused on the fumble and didn't see him screaming for a time out. He ran out there in an intimidating fashion and the ref didn't waste any time pulling his flag. LOL.

I laughed at his sorrows as it unfolded.

Was having a discussion about Sean Payton's end of game decision making. Disagreed on whether going for it on 4th was the right call, but agreed that if you go for it on 4th and get it, like they did, you play safe -- screens, draws, etc. Hoping to, at worst, run the clock down for the tying fg, and at best break a big run.

Throwing to rando TE in triple coverage is a terrible call and decision.

It was dumb, but game was basically over at that point - they would have gotten the ball back at their own 30 or so with :25 and no timeouts.

The Quinn decisions were extra special stupid

But was it Payton that decided to do that or Brees?

Payton's decision to be unnecessarily aggressive there. I also think that was a terrible play call. Bad route combination. Not sure who called the play. Brees definitely made an idiotic throw.

Drew Brees and Matt Ryan are #1 & #2, just ahead of Brett Favre, in career INTs during close games in last 200 Minutes or overtime.

I think Brees has 9 of those and Ryan has 8.

Not defending Brees's throw, but seems that if you go for it on 4th down and make it, then you will NOT play at safe. If one were to play it safe, would have kicked the FG on 4th & 1. Yes, there would have been time left for Atlanta, but Payton going for it on 4th down indicated an intent to win the game in regulation.

I think the only reason for not taking the points there is you're leaving too much time on the clock and your defense had struggled in the 2nd half (and Bryant is a good kicker).

If there were 20 seconds left, you take the points.

So the only distinguishing factor to me is time.

I think you maximize your chance of winning if you play it safe. You either 1) end up breaking a big play on an otherwise safe play and scoring or 2) you give the falcons the ball back, tied, no timeouts, well under a minute to go.

I think while you're more likely to win the game in regulation playing aggressively, I also think, all things considered, that's mitigated by a significantly increased likelihood of losing the game

I have seen quite. A few saints games this year
And when they can't run the ball at will or dump off
they have stuggied mightily with play calling
Very sporadic and odd at times
Maybe it's a lack of weapons. Their TE is awful and they have limited wr options outSide Thomas
