I HATE Haley the play caller (he's horrible) but I can't deny he saved Ben's career.

Before Haley, Ben absolutely refused to dump the ball off. Haley fucking forced Ben to finally get rid of the goddamn ball.

um, Lev'eon Bell saved Ben's career. Would you dump it off to Rashard Mendenhall, Naj Davenport, Redman?

Ben refusing to dump the ball off to Redman (who was having the game of his life) in the playoff game vs. Denver, cost us that game.

Redman wasn't a starting RB, but he was a very, very good pass catcher and he was tearing the shit out of Denver's defense all night long.

He was also open underneath all night long and Ben kept forcing the ball downfield to Wallace, who was terrible.

Ben took far too many hits for too many years to continually refuse to dump the ball off.

Haley fixed that. Took awhile and obviously having Bell was a huge factor, but Haley was going to make Ben start dumping if off no matter who the back was.

Good to see Rogers returning like this after being in the doghouse for his return fumble.

I could be mistaken. Could be the 150 year old scotch, but Miles belittled everybody. Saw him school players on stage making fools of them. Definitely a prick.

But isn't it great we can talk about the finer things in life during a steeler blow out win?

Let’s just say if Bell gets injured again...we are fucked.

Duh.

But Fitz sure looks better to my eyes, than Ridley has.

Miles said shit about Bill Evans long after their association ended.

Called him a "cracker" I believe.

Miles was a genius, but he was also a fucking dick.

I think Ridley already looks better than fitz. Get him acclimated to the speed of the game and he might be decent 3rd RB. Can he return kicks/punts?

So Stillchest...who’s our wildcard opponent again?

Baltimore or Los Angeles?

Ben Roethlisberger is 136-62 as a starting NFL QB in the regular season... and one of those losses was a game where he had the lead and the team lost it after he departed. That is a hell of a record.

A win next week, and Ben will have 2nd place all time for wins in first 200 starts. In the history of the NFL.

I was wrong about this team's mental health, coming out of the Patriots game.

Good job refocusing, traveling on a holiday, and getting a big win.

Very grateful they earned a bye!

Oddly I haven't been able to get into Juju. Something about Shorter's playing on it is a little grating for my tastes. I prefer Speak No Evil, which figures, but actually Night Dreamer and Adam's Apple as well.

Ridley sucked today.

Not saying Fitz is good, but Ridley was beyond unimpressive.

Nice to see them play a focused game pretty much from start to finish (slight easing of the foot on the gas in the 3rd).

The real "gift" came on Christmas Eve compliments of Jimmy G and the 49ers. The Jags losing yesterday's game took a ton of pressure off of the Steelers!
